Well, I could certainly see it happening. If Trudeau was at Ubi's offices yesterday, then there's probably something in the works.

Well, Trudeau's not the premier of Quebec so that probably isn't related to provincial grants, but that aside there's a difference between going somewhere and announcing policy. Trudeau keeps shaking hands in Toronto but the federal government hasn't said anything about new spending in the area.

There's always a reason. For a location this specific, I'd bet on it. Most times, the PM will go to a manufacturing plant or an auditorium, or some other public space, to talk policy or make or reveal a new development.

Give it a few weeks and let's see if he announces something.
