Ubisoft Opens Registrations For New Co-Op Shooter 'Project U'
Exploring "a new concept of session-based co-op shooter"
www.dualshockers.com
As spotted and reported by Insider Gaming, Project U has its dedicated page on Ubisoft's domain, and players who live in Western Europe can currently register for playtesting this upcoming project. There is an image or footage from this new game other than a concept art that shows multiple warriors with guns shooting at what appears to be a robot army.
The official page of the game describes Project U as "a new concept of session-based co-op shooter, where many players unite to prevail against an overwhelming threat!" It doesn't seem the game would feature any PvP gameplay opportunities, but the descriptions are too short to get many details out of. It also remains unknown whether Project U would be a hero-based shooter or not, as the official concept art implies different characters would be playable.
According to the game's official page, players from France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, and Italy can register for playtesting the game. Keep in mind that the playtest will only be available on PC, with the following minimum system requirements:
- Minimum (30 FPS)
- OS: Windows 10
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 (8GB of VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 (8GB of VRAM)
