Ubisoft over 6 games for Switch 2 are in love

The reliable podcaster 'Nate the Hate' has once again chimed in, claiming Ubisoft has "more than half a dozen games for the Switch 2" planned, with many of them expected to be "late ports" of existing releases:

"I've been told Ubisoft is doing more than half a dozen games for the Switch 2, and a lot of them are going to be late ports, these are from a range of franchises, like The Division, Rainbow Six Siege, there's also some discussion and consideration of doing a Mario Rabbids collection...it's just a question of when will these games come out."

"Within the launch window" of the 'Switch 2', Nintendo fans can apparently expect to see Assassin's Creed Mirage. The new title Assassin's Creed Shadow is also believed to be arriving on the system, but it "probably" won't be ready for launch:

"To my understanding, Assassin's Creed Shadows is one of those in development ports, it just won't be ready for launch, and probably won't be ready for the launch window.

I expect most, if not all, of their PS4/XBO gen slate that couldn't run on Switch 1 to be ported here.
 
They was wondering how they could resell the crap they been putting for ten years for another ten years....then the Switch 2 was announced.

Are people really excited to play old ports? I just don't get it.

The only thing exciting about the Switch 2 is the first party games of course but can't imagine playing old games on worst hardware.
 
Ubi always shows up for Nintendo.

I and sure it is Mario and rabbids update so they can sell more.

The very late and extremely watered down port of Witcher 3 on Switch 1 did very well, for reference.

With the PS Portal, potential Xbox handheld and PC handhelds, why would anyone want to play modified(to run on switch 2) ported versions of previous gen games? Nintendo need to focus on more 1st Party.

There was a rumor a while ago about it being AC Mirage and Shadows, the other 4 are harder guesses.

Ubisoft is like that former baddie that partied hard in her late teens and tru whole 20s with top1% men(aka proper stationary consoles of previous and current gen+mid/high tier pc crowd), then realised she hit the wall a while ago and now at 35yo is looking for a beta provider uggo while already acCUMulated over 200bodycount and 3 different babydaddies who dont wanna have anything to do with her anymore=she destroyed her market value(just like ubi who's share price are in the gutter ;p ).

She simply takes what she can get now to not have to survive on dark cold streets where she has to pay for her own drinks for the first time(pc/xbox/ps players dont give a damn about ubi games anymore, for the most part, its bomb after bomb after bomb for ubi lately).

But all good, captain saveAhoe aka switch2 is coming to ubi's rescue soon, he will get the leftower used up kitty, aka late ports of ubi blockbuster games, ubi will feel resentment but if thats what it comes to for survival, they will begrudginly do it.

Ofc as soon as ubi is back on their feet divorce is coming, since ubi is certain they are settling for that low powered fake stationary console with micropenis performance :p

The next Far Cry is supposedly coming too. And I'd include the Prince of Persia remake and The Division.
