I would tend to agree, but I suppose there are plenty of switch players who have never had access to these games. Are people really excited to play old ports? I just don't get it.
The only thing exciting about the Switch 2 is the first party games of course but can't imagine playing old games on worst hardware.

Black Flag is already on Switch, I own the rather rare physical version. They've exhausted their most popular classic titles already. Can't see Origins or Odessey selling million on Switch 2.All those AC from PS4 era that wait to be sold again at a full price
Hey, that would be very cool to have on the Switch 2.Trackmania

third parties switch sales sell good foooor old ports even witcher 3 annnd indiesYep. It didn't light the charts on fire, wasn't reviewed too badly (70's meta I think) and didn't get a Switch release.
Perfect candidate for this audience, mostly for the nature of the game franchise, garnered towards children.
They would want to capitalise on the launch window of the console for these games to sell the best they can.
Yup, quick sneak peak on how those games ports are presented:Ubisoft trying to look all cute and pretty as if Switch 2 gamers are gonna bite
