I hope so. Watching the gameplay vids actually got me interested in this game. And I hate puzzlers. I'm not a huge fan of Tetris (I know, blasphemy), but I did kinda like Dr. Mario back in the day. If Lumines isn't brought over by Ubi, I'll import. PEACE.

I won't mind if Ubisoft adds one or two EXTRA "Americanized" tracks, but they better not change ANY of the games awesome original tracks.

I remember someone saying the reason NAMCO doesn't use the vocal tracks in their US games is because of licensing costs, I wonder if UBI is going to cut out those tracks from Lumines or pay up?

nice. they'd better leave the mondo grosso/eri nobuchika songs in there. they're really the highlights of the soundtrack. maybe the highlights of the game. and there's virtually no localization job to botch, which will come as a relief to anyone who's seen ubi's translation of advance guardian heroes.

Mondo Grosso and Eri are both under a Sony label so maybe that'll help out with licensing costs.

Mondo Grosso's record label is Sony Music Entertainment so I don't see why there WOULD be licensing problems...

I don't think there's very much text in Lumines but if the translation is anywhere near as AWFUL as Advanced Guardian Heroes was, Ubi heads are gonna roll.
