I thought the one judge had it right and Santos took 3 rounds and did enough to win the fight...and it was quite incredible that he did that on one leg.

I could see 48-47 for either jones or santos, which tells you how good santos really was tonight since he did it with one knee.

Askren’s debut told me he did not have the skillset to be in there with an MMA fighter. This is fucked up to say, but I’m glad this happened to him. I thought Lawler outclassed him and tonight is proof he doesn’t belong in there.

He’s got to learn that he can’t always rely on one thing. demian maia is a perfect example. When nate marquardt spun him around with a punch, he learned to strike. I’m not saying he’s the greatest striker but at least he learned to some stand up. Askren will be predictable if he doesn’t try his hand at learning some other art.
