Horn vs. Liddell is going to rock. It's the best match-up they could have made, and I've been hoping for that since the beggining. Especially since I'm tired of the endless cycle of Liddell/Couture/Belfort/Ortiz.

Also, I thought the rumored Babalu/Couture fight would've sucked, so even though I dont know much about Van Arsdale, I'm still happy.

Dammit, young whippersnappers moving in on my MMA-threads monopoly. I was going to post this news with a UFC preview thread tomorrow, grrr......

heh, anyway, Liddell/Horn 2? Awesome Matchup....But, I'm still skeptical. Would the UFC really bring in Horn to fight Liddell, without any buildup? I mean, last we heard from Dana, he said Horn hadn't done anything to deserve being in the UFC, let alone get a title shot. I know saucy posted this on the Underground, and she's legit, but a few pages later, PitMaster (Liddell's trainer) posted asking saucy to call him.

So.....yeah, I dunno. If it happens, amazing! But I'm going to wait and see what they say on the PPV tomorrow night.

Couture/Van Arsdale: meh. No excitement for this matchup. Babalu would have been a great fight, but someone said he's injured.

The popular theory seems to be the Liddell asked for it to avenge his loss. And the UFC obliged. Probably because Chuck wants Pride, and they need to keep him, he's the biggest name they have.

I dont know anything about Van Arsdale, but people seem to think it'll be a really good wrestling match.

And I dunno about Chuck wanting Pride. He wants to fight Wanderlei, sure, but he's always been very loyal to the UFC, and its paying off now with his bigger paydays.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that he said he wanted Wandrelei, and if he had to go to Pride FC, he would. God, this rocks. Also, Rampage is a free agent, if they sign him, the LHW will get a lot more interesting.

I can't wait for the full card to be anounced.
