The Toys R Us and GAME I went to today both had Sonic and Mega Man on shelves, both's employees thought that those were the only two figures released yesterday as they are the only ones the stores received. I am curious to know exactly how limited Meta Knights, Dedede and Shulk are in the UK.
I'm going to Rome next week, may take a couple of hours to see what the Italian amiibo situation is.

Someone has been told by a major retailer that the total allocation for France for Metaknight (and Shulk) was 670. It may have been for the retailer only, but that's still a really small number.

As far as I know, they put him up recently on preorder (circa two weeks ago on Nintendo UK online store and Amazon UK, last wednesday on Amazon Fr), and it's still not available for preorder in many places (including US, if I'm not mistaken).
I swear he's been up on Shopto since then or at least early January.
Only Little Mac, Shulk, Ike and Meta knight to complete the set. Open or not, I dont care! I need to continue the search. Soon (haha) the will be mine!!! (Haha X2)

Bol already had Dedede (guessing MN as well), but sold out in a matter of minutes. I had it in my cart, but it was out of stock before I could complete check-out! I thought this re-listing was a mistake, but now I went ahead and pre-ordered the two of them anyway, hope I get them. Never played a Kirby game, but Dedede is just an insanely good looking amiibo.
btw report from Belgium: in my stores it seems you can only find Mega Man or Sonic of the latest batch. Shulk, DDD and Meta Knight are ghosts. One store I contacted said they probably wouldn't even get Dedede.

So I am going for some amiibo hunting in the German hinterlands on Monday. Hoping to make it up to Dash and Spades for disappointing them last week. (Gave away my stock to friends here)

Prices of MK, Shulk and KD are obscene, I have all the previous Amiibos bar these three, it's getting to the point where I am asking myself do I REALLY want to pay fifty pounds apiece for a plastic figure?

Not many shops in the North West of Lancashire that do these kind of things though...
Most GAME stores have closed, there are a couple of Argos's around and one Toys r Us in Preston, that's about it.

I'm set for wave 3b but I've come to a point that I don't enjoy the amiibo collecting anymore. It has become a chore instead of a fun thing to do.
I'm really worried for wave 4 in april with pre-orders being cancelled (especially that one), store policies changing to in store pick-ups only etc. I don't think it's ok that I have to refresh a dozen retailer sites every hour to have a chance to pre-order. It has come to the point that I get out of bed early because I'm too worried that the new wave has gone up during my sleep. I wouldn't mind too much if it was just for a few days, but this thing has been going on for months now and it just keeps coming. I know this is my own problem and that I should put this situation into perspective, but I find this extremely hard to do.
I feel really bad for all the retailers too. They get the same amiibo questions every day, constantly have to deal with unpleased customers and never receive their full orders. Not a single person I have spoken in stores nearby still likes the nintendo company since this amiibo-fiasco.

1) When checking online at places like Toys R Us, it's worth ringing them as their website is never accurate. I've often found the website saying that Amiibos are in stock when they aren't or that Amiibos aren't in stock when they are.
2) When checking online at places like Toys R Us, Argos and GAME, make sure to use your post code to search for local stores but also use post codes from further away places and ask if anyone can get one for you.
3) Personally I travel to the stores regardless of what online stock says.
4) Argos have a very good system in place in their stores which let you check the availability of an item throughout all of the UK.
5) When checking online...don't use eBay or Amazon.

Hmm, the store where I buy lots of gaming stuff says they will get more Little Macs in June from Nintendo.

I just came to say this. I think Fnac should be removed from the links on the OP, as they allow preorders only to cancel them afterwards. They are cancelling every single order they have, sometimes the day they are released. People are pissed!
I've heard June for a lot of other characters too, such as Shulk, Rosalina, Marth, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Kirby and Sheik. So it looks like they're reprinting a lot of figures for that date. Some Danish shops even specifically lists June 24 as the big restock day

Ooh finally an EU/UK thread. When Wave 3 started it did start to get difficult to find UK GAFers in the general thread so I stopped visting it.
Got all the ones I wanted now from Wave 3, more than originally intended I admit, but that goes for most of the waves to be honest, partially because I know in future I won't be able to easily find some of them I was going to hold off on initially. Bloody Nintendo.
Also you know it's bad when your mum suggests you get a display case for your amiibo...

Once you register in the website (giving them your credit card information as a mandatory step), you go back to the amiibos -that are still available- and once you click on them it says they are not accepting more preorders. You cannot get this message until you are registered with them.
Considering their past with the credit cards and that they charge 1 euro to your account in order to make the registration, I would advise you to avoid the trouble.
Now I'm trying to delete my account and there is no option in the website. I just wrote their customer support a message.
At least my experience can spare some other Gaffers of this trouble...

Um pretty much every company takes a small charge to register that your card is valid that's nothing against shopto.
Having no luck getting a shulk which I'm sure isn't surprising. Tempted to order a sonic from Nintendo's store though.

Ordered them yesterday, also have them ordered at Fnac. If by some miracle they both deliver I can sell the extras at cost to EU Gaf.
The problem is not the small charge, is that Amiibos seems to be available for preorder, but once you register with them you discover they aren't.
That's really the issue
