Um... did I just get a DVD-R from NetFlix?

I got Saw today, and while the back of the disc is most definitely pressed, and not dye based, the front ... looks like a bootleg:

Hey speaking of netflix , is it just me or do the movies take longer to ship the longer you have your membership?

Turn it over much easier to tell it the bottom silver or like purple?

Netflix rocks for me so far. Got a kick ass mail man there are many days I get my DVDs the next day and I live in the sticks. I got a set of movies on monday shipped them out tuesday should have another set on friday.

It doesn't have anything to do with how long you have the membership, it's how many you rent in a given billing period. New customers get great service as a side effect because they have no rent history.

As for Saw, I think it might just be the Netflix version of the disc. I've noticed some copies of movies have different disk art, like a flat gray background with just the title. Netflix must have special deals with some studios.

The version of Audition I got from them specifically had the words NETFLIX printed on the disc.

Lol work sucks my brain cells out. The only thing that looks really strange is there looks like wrinkles in the white area near the center of the disk.

Oh wow I was kidding. It was a slight at how the OT is like your livejournal. Then you posted a link to your livejournal, which is like a mirror of the OT.

Current mood: *braindead*

Well if you think about it there are 2 new big players in the online rental game, so studios are just going to start making the "basic" discs without Netflix printed all over them....

Doesn't Columbia house do something similar where they manufacture their own discs likely with cheaper materials and sell them for cheaper? Dunno if that's just a myth or what.

the past two weeks for me netflix has gone downhill

I always cancel for a while and start over because it seems that is the only way to keep the good service :)
