Uncharted 2 PS4 Gameplay

Lol destiny is 30 fps and it plays just fine. Hell destiny gameplay is more satisfying than call of duty.
So yeah no fucks given

Destiny plays OK at 30. It would be infinitely better at 60. So yeah, plenty of fucks given. I don't like COD either, but going from that 60 fps beta back to Destiny felt terrible until I got used to 30 fps again.

Did they do anything to the character models such as fix the big difference in Elena from 2 -3??

They didn't touch the side characters' models much at all besides making them on-par with Nate afaik. That is, they likely used the UC3-versions of those character skins (as they had models for them for multiplayer) but they're the same as they were in the original games design-wise.

In other words, no they didn't "fix" Elena in UC3 and the character eyes in UC2 are still going to be glassy (at least as far as I have seen).

Ok thanks for the info, I just really didn't like the design of Elena in the third game. She just looked off to compared to the first two games.

She looks amazing in UC4 doe.

Man that train gameplay... Polygon's gameplay makes me cringe so much...
It's much easier to watch after the helicopter joins in, lol. The rooftop sequence is played well too.

Watching on iPad, which hides visual deficiencies but the train exterior was pretty rough on PS3, looks like Bluepoint might have redone that, and I don't remember the light and shadow looking so good once inside the tunnel.

Destiny plays great.
Your sensitive to it. A lot of us aren't so the issue is really on your side of the fence. I hope you have a powerful PC with your framerate allergy.

Says they are his favourite bits then plays the train section like he's never even seen it before and does everything completely wrong.

There are some things that are clearly from the last generation of consoles in these games but they hold so bloody well. Really can't wait to play all three of them again, one after the other. I really hope that people haven't played them before get as much enjoyment out of these three games as I have over the years.

Not watching these due to spoilers but I can't fucking wait for this, got it ordered and I'm so ready, hopefully Amazon are good for pre-orders.

Is blood turned off in these vids ? Because the last footage of UC1 had those small blood splatter when hitting an enemy.

Has the shooting improved though?

I've played through all 3 and while I quite liked them the shooting ruined them for me. If that's improved I'll no doubt buy this, especially as I've forgotten most of the story now anyway.

The shooting has indeed been improved. I believe all 3 remasters play closest to the way number 2 originally played/controlled.

Come hang with me GAF!

Going to play a bit of all 3 games.

Dang, cutscenes in 2 look really nice. The new DOF is a big improvement over TLOU:Remastered even, doesn't have that blurry halo around objects in the foreground anymore, nice clean edges.

EDIT: Oh man, that horn sound when picking up a treasure brings me back. I have a feeling I'm gonna end up platinuming this game again.

Looks great, but I'll be passing. I already have them all on PS3, and while I love TLOU to bits, I never really got into UC. I will be buying UC4 though.

Oh, and did anyone else get the impression that Nick from polygon is trying to get a job at Ubisoft?

Sorry. Can't help myself. Whenever someone says iconic twice in a short period of time, I get nightmares about Ubisoft's pr spiel.

If it played great it wouldn't need boatloads of aim assist to make up for the problems inherent with going 30 fps.

"We should stress that you can toggle between all three games using a new option on each title's main menu, and the loading is practically non-existent when you switch."

Hell yes, that's how I was hoping it would be.

Jim Sterling has mentioned in his vid that he became obsessive about playing the game better than his PSN friends. So yeah, online leaderboards are in [time, headshots, etc].

Damn, now we'll all know the real cause behind those 'bullet sponge' complaints.

Shame that the demo is UC2, hopefully it's not the same sequence as the PS3 demo.

Would have preferred UC1, I really want to see and feel the changes they've done to this one, sequels hold up perfectly anyway.

It's not using aim assist because its 30fps. This isn't 2005, Bungie doesn't need to use assist to counteract insane deadzones. It has a high aim assist to appeal to casual players. It is the exact same in Call of Duty. Which I might add I play both with zero aim assist since I grew up on PC fps games. Halo and Destiny aren't all of a sudden affected adversely by turning your assists off.
