Unicorn fart finishing move coming soon to Black Ops 6

It looks absurd and It's so far away from what COD used to be.

However, The kids clearly love this shit as COD still brings in a large player count.

It's CoD, it's been like this for a long time. It usually takes until the end of the 12 month cycle for it to go full balls to the wall but.

People are eating this shit up however so they'll keep making it, I've never seen so much spent on DLC in CoD then this generation.

There was a time when I thought Treyarch's CoD titles were easily the best in the series. Sadly, it looks like they've completely gone off the deep end.

I'm not in the target group that plays military multiplayer shooters, but if I were I imagine I'd want them to at least feel a bit authentic and this kind of stuff just seems completely out of place. Can you disable them from your point of view or are you forced to see them because some whale paid for them?

Sighs 😩 can we just bring back army men shooting at other army men please

Can't believe I used to shit on ghost/advanced warfare back then, man I'd play those in a heartbeat over this bs

I believe you, but that's fucked. Oh boy.

BLOPS 6 is fun. It's not like finishing moves happen constantly, so this sort of thing is not a big deal, more of a reward for pulling off the move.

The glowing green anthropomorphic dragon skin, on the other hand...

Is it split in to realistic and wacky modes or is that all in the multiplayer mode everyone has to play?

No, doesn't matter what you're playing, you'll see all of the skins, finishers, weapon tracers etc.

Ideally they would do it like the MCC where you can choose to disable all of the new skins and just play with the classic default look.

And people goes wild saying skins and these stuff don't change what COD is because "cosmetics". The universe is wide with stupid crap like that.

Yeah that would probably be best but as these animations take time I don't know how they would do that.

Well there are loads of default animations for finishers that just look normal, and I'm pretty sure every finisher is the same length. The game doesn't launch with any of these extravagant finishing moves. I believe every skin, or most skins also have a base character that looks normal. I think it would be easy, but on the other hand I don't know anything about game development so I could be completely wrong.

There's gotta be a market for old grumpy bastards like myself that prefer a realistic tacticool aesthetic over Fortnite clown shoes.
If only someone could fill the void? No, not you XDefiant, fuck off!

Black Ops 6 is legit the most fun I've had with COD in a LONG time.

Because of that I don't really care about this stuff. Is it ridiculous? Sure. But I kind of respect that they no longer take it seriously.

CoD 4 and Infinite Warfare SP campaigns were great. And even Advance Warfare SP was alright. I haven't played anything since Infinite Warfare though as SP became an afterthought.
I think i played a couple of hours of modern warfare but i just hate their cardboard enemies and how their campaign are structured, i also find realistic military stuff boring as hell.

Infinite Warfare SP might be more to your liking then. It's set in the future with spaceship combat and all. It was great.

Edit: But Modern Warfare 4 campaign wasn't cardboard and I found mission structure and overall campaign quite good.

Cardboard enemies, cod games to me feel like shooting galleries, it's hard to describe.

Also, i don' tknow if they changed this, but i fucking hate any section in an fps\tps when i'm not directly controlling my character, so the whole airplane bomb level in modern warfare gave me cancer, i hate being in a turret or a fixed place to shot at stuff in any game really.
