On January 20, 2001, President George W. Bush signed an executive order establishing the United States Department of Faith (DOF). Headed by Mr. Bush's and God's favorite church, Landover Baptist Church, the DOF is entrusted with overseeing disbursement of millions of taxpayer dollars to religious charities. The DOF does not discriminate against any faith, making funds available to both Baptist churches and other churches or organizations that recognize Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior

Because all religions believe Jesus Christ is their lord and savior. Oh wait - just two muthafucking religions do. Good thing they don't descriminate though.

EDIT: I see this is a joke. Speaks volumes about the last 5 years that I took this immediately as fact though.

yup, the media has been really great at pushing through an anti-Bush attitude and/or people have become prone to believe what they hear/see immediately and taking it as fact... (to large extents on both sides)

So, in fact, it isn't that the Bush administration has been patently ridiculous over the last four years, but that the media has only been impressing that on us and at times with misinformation!

I feel like such a fool... :(
