The Next Generation is literally the next generation along. I think it's something like 100 years onwards from TOS.

The Klingons with ridges first appeared in The Motion Picture, then the modern look was cemented in The Search for Spock.
Enterprise also had modern looking Klingons and that was a century before Kirk. So the Original Series Klingons are the weird ones I guess.

Lmao, my friend is the one who saw this and took the screengrab. He didn't know it was a leak, and just shared it on his other friends wall. Woke up the next day to see it had exploded.
