Join a team of ambitious ghost hunters as they chase their next viral hit on a remote island haunted by a woman's chilling story of something far darker than they bargained for. When the tale begins to manifest in terrifying ways, survival will take more than a strong signal to get off the island alive.
Their lives are in your hands. Make every choice count.

Until Dawn 2 is a standalone experience featuring a brand new cast, a whole new world to explore and true to form, a modern horror experience packed with intrigue, emotion, twists and the kind of choices that will keep you up at night. Your decisions still shape the story: who falls victim, and who survives Until Dawn…

Our cast this time is a crew of ghost hunters, the faces behind the wildly popular paranormal channel Dead True..
Only, well… they've never actually seen anything supernatural. The scares they are known for are, let's say, a little staged. But all that changes when for the very first time, they come face-to-face with real horrors and must start living up to their reputation to survive.

Having just signed a deal with a big TV network, the crew gets shipped off to an abandoned tropical island for their first fully funded episode. At first, it's all sun, sand, secrets… plus some very not-safe-for-the-workplace drama as their complicated relationships bubble to the surface.

Of course, there's more to this beautiful island than meets the eye. Beneath this blissful exterior, hide dreadful and heartbreaking secrets – centuries old and hungry for vengeance… and our crew have landed right in the middle of it.

Would it even be an Until Dawn game without gut-wrenching decisions? Will you risk injury to save a cute baby boar from a gnarly bear trap? Keep a scandalous affair going, even if it could blow up the group? Push someone to their breaking point, all for the sake of content that your intimidating boss says you need to get?
This time, how you manage relationships within the crew matters more than ever, with some branches based on where things stand between characters. It's not just the huge moments, even small character moments can set off a Butterfly Effect, sending your story spinning off towards unforeseen consequences…

Until Dawn 2 comes to PlayStation 5 in 2027.

Release is next year so 12 years on from the first game and it looks far worse graphically.

What a shame Supermassive Games didn't make this one too.

So it's a brand new story? Character models feel like a downgrade and unless I'm missing something there's zero recognizable people in the cast.

I'm interested in this. Loved the first game, and honestly have enjoyed all the Dark Picture games released so far. But I'm insanely curious to see how a studio that isn't Supermassive pulls off this genre.

I fucking hope they implemented interactive sex scenes like fahrenheit.

I just want to thrust the L3 button for each hip move ingame while dry humping my pillow just to experience the same climatic momentum like back then with fahrenheit.

Would be automatically a 69/10 game for me.

Not feeling this at all. The characters look boring. Not even "I hope they all die" annoying, just boring.

The faces seems like a huge step down from the first game, really weird looking and very, VERY uncanny valley.
Yeah even recent Supermassive games look much better and they don't have Sony's massive resources and budgets. Still production values look decent here and Firesprite being quite new so will give them the benefit of the doubt.

Looking forward to this though. Loved the original and interested to see if they're going to make this a slasher or a horror, horror.

I was worried Sony was done with Until Dawn after the remake and movie flopped but I'm glad they're still trying. Hopefully Firesprite does a good job with it.

First one was lighting in a bottle: the actors were perfect, the setting, the story etc.

The Quarry was their best effort since. It was pretty nice, but still not as good. Everything else was pretty trash.

Not feeling the cast, setting and how bright it is so far. We will see.

I didn't realise they were former Sony Liverpool Devs who left that ill-fated studio formed firesprite and eventually were acquired again.

They recently made horizon call of the mountain.
