Is that JPN characters on the Hot Shots Golf box? Are they getting rid of the stupid US characters?

Hot Shots Golf is coming out this month? Damn, you Sony! Another $40 out of my wallet this month.

Actually it comes out on 5/2. Which is cool since the original date was June

Wait wait wait wait wait....

A new Spy vs. Spy??? There is no possible way that this can live up to my imagination, but is there any good info on this title?

No, there's not. Thus, it is sure to suck. Here's Gamespot's coverage, they've got a short preview, and bunch of screens. Still, it's $20, Live-enabled (though that wasn't mentioned until very recently, so it might just be Live-aware) and I do love Spy Vs. Spy...

Oo, not bad. I'm really looking forward to it, I thought it was quite bit further away. HSG + Murcury should make for very nice additions to the library.

Yes you did, you just don't remember hearing about it.

Gamespot just posted a story on it, saying Namco never announced a Dead to Rights PSP game...

Does anybody really think the Geist cover is any more jumbled and chaotic than say, the Metal Slug one? I can't really see whats going on in either of them, but I also don't think they look that "bad".

Killer 7 box looks pretty cool.

I've heard Samurai Western is Way of the Samurai 3, is that true? And for anyone who has played it, how is it, looks interesting enough, albeit different from the Way of the Samurai games if it is.

It's by the same guys as WoTS, but it's a new series. Basically it's a parody comedy game. Think like Conker but with a Japanese samurai speaking broken english in wild west. Gameplay is ok, not the greatest but it's decently fun. You have some cool moves the movement is pretty fast and comfortable but the camera is pretty bad. The tongue-n-cheek goofyness of the game is great though. I only played about an hour or so of the Japanese version but as a big fan of the development team I enjoyed what they made and the game put a smile to my face. I wouldn't recommend it for $50 and I don't see it scoring above 7s in magazines, but at $30 or less I'd recommend it to WoTS fans. You can unlock characters and weapons from the WoTS games, and there's even a way to unlock the Samurai Western characters into WoTS2 in the Japanese best hits version.

That Fantastic Four box just pissed on my soul.

Tidbit eh actually, in anycase, Team Protoman get!
god, i can't believe they're still calling blues "protoman". they should have reset the continuity in MMBN.

also, what i can only assume was a kernel/colonel pun just doesn't work in english, does it.

Actually it's the .EXE version of X4 Colonel.

What the heck is Finny the Fish? Kids shovelware?

"Uo" in Japan, by Sega/WOW. It actually seemed really nice from what I played of the import, but had enough Japanese text to make it really difficult to get into. I'm looking forward to the US release, despite the silly name.
