Uwe Boll: 'Don't Blame Me' (laugh inside)

"The dangerous thing right now is that a lot of people bash me without thinking about the movies. It's fashionable to hit on Uwe Boll, and this is what I don't get. And I don't get why this comes so harshly from the games press,"
:lol

Boll says the point is that his movies get better as his career progresses - Dungeon Siege is "ten times better" than BloodRayne, which is ten times better than House of the Dead, and so on.

So then in about 5 years his movies will finally reach the quality of "Dude, Where's My Car".

at the rate of quality increase of 10x each new film he makes by the time Uwe Boll works on Final Fantasy XXIV: THE MOVIE, he'll finally have a movie as good as Star Wars: Episode III.

Edit: Fuck, my joke was semi-beaten by Solidsnakex

Someone should ask him how pissed he is that he was apparently duped into believing Konami was considering him to direct a MGS movie.

He was? When did this happen?

He kept claiming that he'd gotten a script from Konami and was currently reading through it. Kojima got word of it but ignored it because he didn't think anyone would believe they'd allow him to make a MGS movie. It kept popping up on sites so Kojima finally commented on it and said

German director Uwe Boll keeps saying he'll be directing a MG movie. So I asked Mr. Kojima about this, is this true?

Kojima: Absolutely not, I don't know why Uwe boll is even talking about this kind of thing. We've never talked to him. It's impossible that we'd ever do a movie with him.

And for one brief moment, all seemed right with the world.

"Oh, boo hoo, everyone makes fun of me".

Message to Uwe: Congratu-fucking-lations. You have Attention. It's an important power that Hollywood gives. If you made movies even slightly better, you'd be just some nameless Z-movie director. If you stop making videogame movies, you'll lose our attention and then you just DIE in obscurity.

This is why we keep asking you to stop making videogame related movies.

not quite correct. he got a script for a MGS movie, but not from Konami. he got scripts for several franchises that were not official. some writers kept sending him stuff, without companies knowing they did.

it is true his movies are getting better.
While this is true, I actually feel that this is a BAD thing for Boll. You see, movies such as HotD are bad to the point where it actually becomes enjoyable to watch them for that reason alone. I saw Bloodrayne for shits and giggles and walked away disappointed because it WAS a better movie. Outside of a couple terrible cuts during the fight scenes, it wasn't as quite Boll Bad. This resulted in a BORING MOVIE. Now it's just a bad movie with no entertainment value.

A movie which could score in the range of 3/10 is often going to prove less entertaining than a movie down at 0/10. I'd rather watch Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter or The Crippled Master than Bloodrayne, for example...

Not that I'm a huge fan of REALLY bad movies or anything. Once and a while, though, they can be fun...

In all fairness to Boll - If it wasn't for his films we might never have seen Kristen Lokken having angry sex up against a prison cell bars with her baps out.

Uwe Boll got Kristanna Loken to show her titties. Let's face it, that's probably going to be is peak.

Some people just "have it", some people don't. Uwe Boll "has it". Whatever that "it" is, it rocks and Uwe Boll should be knighted/given medals for his work in film. He is unprecedented in his medium.

Well I guess we just figured out which Uwe Boll's GAF account is.

so some of guys are suggesting that we shouldn't be harsh on him just because his movies are moving from crappy as hell to boring but bearable status??!
