Ok so I'm hitting PV again the first week in May. We usually go in February to get away from the Chicago deep freeze, but this year is all about my boyfriend's birthday trip so May it is.
Here's the thing....I'm looking for cool out of the way things to do in Vallarta.
We usually spend 10 days on the following: breakfast/beach for drinks/lunch/short nap/dinner at one of the excellent restaurants/dancing all night/sleep/repeat.
Somewhere in there we do an all day booze cruise sponsored by one of the local bars, and a day in the jungle on horseback. Cool but we always do it.
So far I've found a dolphin day cruise with a eco-friendly research group (www.wildlifeconnection.com), not one of those in captivity things (yuck!)
And a day cruise to Las Marietas islands - an out of the way unspoiled beach paradise.
All of this written in the hopes that GAF has some other out of the way ideas that they've experienced in PV.
