Hello. I'll have to put something together in the morning - I'm busy this evening.

However, people might be interested to know that I'm putting together something similar for the Adelaide Fringe Festival in a month or so: I'm using characters from Garfield, Fred Basset and For Better or Worse to recreate Ulysses. Or the first episode, anyway. It's going to take me fucking ages to do the whole book. Years, probably.

This is a webcomic, not a fucking newspaper strip. There is no reason to restrain yourself because some people have this retarded idea that the less panels=funnier comic.

It had a point, it was easy to follow, a few good jokes and he even made a crack at himself. The fact that the best most of you have against this "To many panels":lol and "he doesn't troll GAF" is hilarious.

The worst thing you can do with any thing with artistic merit is make it bloated. Why can't he make it two separate comics? Why does he have to interrupt what is the beginning of one punchline with another one? There is a reason most individualized comics such as this stick to one, distinct punchline. It's streamlined. It's neat. It doesn't have several different things running together in a format that can typically only support simpler ideas. This isn't comedy hour. He can't just reel off everything he thinks of. I harken back to what Iwata said: an idea is something that solves two problems at once. Making something smaller, more compact, saying more with less, that's an artform. We don't need to see every expression and gyration. The ability to capture it all in a single look or a single panel or a single thought balloon is in my mind essential to doing these sorts of things. People think they have all these great ideas that they want to stuff in, but sometimes it's better just to trim it down and leave stuff out.

I didn't like the way he looked there. Gave too much attention to the outsiders, when in fact the point of them being outside is that no one cares about them. If there's one thing Scott's bad at, it's attention to detail.

If you look closely, you can see where I cut Mario out. I also didn't extend Pikachu's ear. I don't have photoshop available on this PC.
