Why is Joe doing a salute?

Joe Biden isn't the one doing coke though. Why can't people differentiate? Just because his daughter, who is a grownass woman and makes her own decisions, decides to be stupid and snort some coke that somehow reflects badly on Biden? Somehow he can't be against drugs and can't legislate against them because his daughter did coke?

I can differentiate. That's why the only question I would ask the Vice President is what he feels an appropriate sentence for a person caught using cocaine would be. The official position of the Obama administration is that drug use should remain criminal, let's hear what he thinks an appropriate sentence for that particular drug would be.

Saying F.U. to Bush.
He is saluting him because he probably thinks your supposed to when a former president is leaving the white house for the final time. Less fun of an answer though. :(

Oh and I read about this tape nearly a week ago. No one in the mainstream media is touching it, much like they wouldn't go near the Edwards affair story. Till Edwards admitted it despite it being out there already.

Even more so when it's a child of a President (or VP), those tend to be extremely off limits for the most part.

This will be swept under the rug outside the fringes.

And he'll say the appropriate sentence for a drug conviction should be whatever is the current one on the books. What do you think he'd say?

She wasn't caught in possession of a drug, she won't be sentenced to any jail time and you know that. Could it be hypocritical? Sure, but you know very well she isn't going to be serving any jail time.

INTERESTING FACT.

I am facebook friends with Ashley Biden. :lol

Oh and this isn't the first tim Ashley Biden has done something like this. iirc she got in a fight with a police officer when drunk during college.

I assume we'll soon see Michael Moore sticking a camera in Biden's face and asking him if his daughter should go to prison.

Right?

But shouldnt she be treated like Phelps, he wasn't caught with a drug(just pics), but pretty much his life was seriously fucked.

Bob Saget/Cocaine addict: Marijuana is not a drug. I used to suck dick for coke.

Biden actually was for putting drug users in prison? (not joking this is a real question)

Phelps gets paid shitloads of money for his image. Not really the same thing.

No, lots of people tried to bring it up and make it an issue and nobody gave a shit.

Precisely, and those same people will be the ones not giving a shit about this. It's stupid to make an issue of it either way.

being a lesbian isn't illegal and Cheney doesn't have a history of fighting to make being a lesbian illegal.
The Bush/Cheney ticket campaigned against gay marriage. They really campaigned hard on that issue in 2004 especially.

Her father is pretty much the "number two" guy in the country. I see your point though. I just don't see how it is not a big deal, when everything any celebrity, elected official, or their kid does is a big deal. i could give two craps what some one does in their private life, but alas that is not the society we live in.

It was pretty telling when they arrested almost everyone at that party except Phelps. It's a class issue now. The upper crust generally don't go to prison for drug charges.

What? They barely prosecuted anyone at that party.

True, but it was all over the news, that the police tracked down the people other then Phelps(not that you would have to track him down), even the person who sold the bong on ebay...

Or it could be a hoax, to teach the kids the danger of drugs, kinda like the Magic Johnson with aids thing......................................................................................seriously iam just kidding.

Umm, what?

The reason they didn't arrest Phelps was because they don't have jurisdiction over him without going to the trouble of wasting tax money to try to extradite a celebrity to the state for a misdemeanor drug charge.

Even if he were black and homeless they wouldn't have arrested him.

Right, and the reason they were tracking down everyone at the party was to GET to Phelps, it was a witch hunt from day one. They were trying to build a case and had to abandon it.:lol

I dont think I ever said or implied that....If I did I blame the drugs....

I guess you can replace Phelps with whatever celebrity is in rehab this week. I just thought it was interesting to see headlines proclaiming that 8 other people have been arrested in connection with the party.

Isn't she like 27?

Yeah, I saw that after I posted it, I missed it the first time I read the article. The question still works without the word minor though. (well, with the word "person" instead)

I think the story in general was all about the local District Attorney trying to get attention for himself. But the main point is that even if they wanted to, it would be pointless to track down an out-of-state person, let alone a rich person with good lawyers, all for a petty drug bust.

Now if you really want to get depressed, watch the Frontline episode about poor people being suckered into signing plea agreements even when the evidence is so flimsy the DA would not be able to convict them at trial. The episode had person after person of the most terrifying "you can't believe this shit actually happens" stories you have ever seen.

dude, really? Just read the fucking thread that's all you need to do.

This post says so much about who you are.

I was being sarcastic. In that she isn't fat. I prefer that body type on a woman.

Yeah, it's a shame she isn't grossly underweight like yourself.

Wha.. what? :lol

I'm 135 and 6'1 as of 2 days ago. I'm very healthy and do not look grossly underweight (though I am trying to put on weight -- I have trouble doing it). Huge difference between skinny and "grossly underweight".

But thank you for pretending to creepily know me in real life!
