I plan on starting to save up some extra dough so I can purchase a video camera. I just want something that I can make little music videos with, but something that's not going to look like total shit. I'll probably do most of my editing on my computer, so I imagine I should probably look into going digital, right? do any of you have any suggestions as to what I should look at? I'd like to keep it relatively low priced, too... when I worked at best buy people would drop 5 G's on a camera like it was nothing, and I can't afford that.

any suggestions/hope? heh.

Not sure, but I'm one of those guys that plunks down five grand on a camera (albeit far from easily and not at Best Buy).

While waiting for Hi-Def to become more popular and cheaper, I'd go for a Canon GL2, they're a prosumer version of the XL2. How much are you wanting to spend?
