Video card upgrade

It's an integrated one. It's supposedly a Geforce 4MX, but I've read on other forums that it's actually a Geforce 2.

What kind of power connector do I need for that? The only type my power supply has free is one mini-molex connector.

Where do I find out what kind of power supply I have? I might as well get a new one while I'm getting that video card.

This is getting expensive. I bought some extra memory last week. I'm going to have more money in upgrades than I do in the computer itself.

If you look on the back of your computer your PSU ratings should be there, if not open up your box and look on the side. You will most likely need a new PSU for that badboy, atleast 350 watts, a good antec one can be found online for about 40 - 60 bucks.

I figured I'd need one. This one is only 300 watts and it only has one mini-molex connector free. I don't know what kind of power connector that card uses though. I don't know what kind of power supply with fit either. I don't know if I need an ATX or another kind of supply.

I think I'm going to wait a few weeks on the power supply. I can't afford all this at once. The only problem is my molex connector is about three inches short. Are there extensions for molex connectors?

I had that exact card before I decided to go with a Radeon X800 Plat. Anyways, it's definatly a great card at that price. Ran everything great on my 3ghz P4. Go for it.

The benchmarks I've seen show the 6800 (vanilla) to be better than the 6600GTs. Which I hope is the case since the 6800 cost more.
