I think I'll definitely have to pick up Hulk this week. I loved what I saw on the Judgement Day review.

Wow, some nice deals this week. Mario Baseball for $35, Killer 7 for $20, Sonic Gems for $20, and Advance Wars still at $25. I might have to pick up Mario Baseball at that price.

Yeah it is a shit game.

Nah. Great wit though!

Hopefully it drops to $20 nationwide soon enough. I loved what I played of it, and I'd probably pay $30 for it, but it will probably drop again very soon.

Honestly... what is it? I've read reviews and impressions but I've never really got a clear idea of what the gameplay consists of.

It is a bad game.

Think of RE, cell shaded to an insane level, put it on rails and wrap it all up with an incoherent control system. There gameplay is warped and broken that is why you can't fin a clear description of it. Total trash.

This is one of those games that the concept was broken from the get go but they kept working on it and working on it until they poured so much money into it they had to release it.

Really it is the worst game I have played all generation. One giant turd, and I am pretty easy on games especially ones that try something new. Killer 7 is a complete and utter failure of a game.

If it was not that I want to have a healthy GC collection I'd burn the game.

Exaggerate much? Worst game all generation? Come on now.

worst game I own, and I own a lot of games. I can not think of one other title that sucked as much as Killer 7.

Eh, I really disagree with you. 7.0 game imo, but to each their own.

Of course I accidently bought a couple of shitty games having high hopes for them, that were much worse than Killer 7 to me:

Shinobi (PS2): Completely disappointing, with crappy unfair AI and bad controls.

Ninja Turtles 1 (GC): I bought it hoping to get something as good as Turtles in Time, thinking reviewers just didn't appreciate games like that anymore. No. It just sucked ass.

What's this?

edit: nm, just looked it up. good deal. is it too late to start playing this game?
In before the trolls!

Nah, it's never really "too late" to start playing this type of MMORPG. There has been an influx of players and they seem to be progressing fine. Since people can switch jobs and level their subs/side jobs, and there are new people joining all the time, there will always be people to level with.

Now, enter the trolls!

BUY WOW!

I was at Toys R Us today and they had a bunch of games at 50% off. Maximo was $10, Metroid Fusion was half off. Can't remember any others, but there were a shitload.

Not even joking, Killer7 (GC) was one of my favorite games this generation.

I could rave on it for hours.

$20 is a steal!

You can hate the control scheme, fine, but I don't understand how you can call it incoherent. It's overly simple, if anything.

It's a perfectly fine little adventure game if you're mostly in it for the presentation and story. The gameplay is more or less empty, but no more so than most other plot-driven games. It's worth picking up for $20 if you like adventure games and aren't looking for an action game.

Hmm, ouch.

Woa, hold in the horses.

I could offer a rebuttle, but I've said so much about it already in previous thread.
The story of the game is a work of pyschological genius, and kept me interested above all gameplay flaws.

ANYONE interested in a good narrative, story, thriller, adventure, should def. check this game out. The shooting is good too; just don't expect to do much exploring.

The voice work is some of the best I've heard in a game, the art screams aesthetic eyecandy, and is wholly worth the price of $20 admission.

If anyone is interested further, check out the offical killer7 thread.

Where are you getting these Fry's prices from? I just checked the most recent ads for Seattle and found none of the deals listed. Today's ad proudly advertises Mario Baseball for $49. They even had the nerve to put a little asterisk by the price that says "Limit 1 per customer." :/

As part of the ground rules for Lindz-Age I'll let you all know right now to not post any Fry's deals unless one of you comes along and sets one up right next to my house. Got it?

*weeps at unatainable cheap Gems & AWDS deals* ;_;

I'm ticked. No Killer 7 at my Fry's (although they had everything else... what a waste of gas).

What Fry's is that? Are these deals applicable to all stores? I never understand where the info comes from and why there's discrepencies. Their brick and mortar-focused site is a craphole and Fry's is a damn-weird place as far as deals go to begin with. There's usually no rhyme or reason.

Different Fry's locations have different deals. They only apply to the stores listed in each ad.
