Video Game Scenes That Make You Uninstall

Arsic

Loves his juicy stink trail scent

I've had to uninstall and reinstall Rebirth a few times since its release. I WANT to finish it but it always within a hour or two of coming back does something to make me go "what the fuck were they thinking? Who is this game for?"

Came back yesterday to be greeted by this scene and immediately uninstalled again.

Is there a game cut scene this retarded that makes you automatically nope out?

That scene in Trails in the Sky where stepbrother & stepsister accidentally see each other naked at the hot spring and realize they want to bone each other.

Man, lighten up. I loved this scene.

The did we forget we all came from the same orphanage scene in FF8.

Uninstalled it so fast. Also Death Stranding when I realized the game was just Baby Steps without the sense of humor.

I did uninstall Heavy Rain after this, but I mean it was the ending, so too late I guess.

Ethan is grieving his dead sons. Madison is suddenly like "I'll give you another one, let's bone" at the grave and Ethan decides he'd rather shoot himself in the head. Games are art people.

FF7's always had much more of an... anime? influence than the rest of the series. The Gold Saucer might be the best instance of that.

Yes I love anime's inclusion of riding dolphins:

I swear mother fuckers out here will say anything to defend rebirth and say FF7 had this much over the head beating nonsense garbage. Mini game to ride a dolphin to progress being actually some of the least retarded shit this game throws at you.

OG FF7 barely does this kind of crap and often it's optional or short lived. I feel like I move 10 feet in this game and have to do some whack ass mini game to progress.

😂 lmfao.

David Cage ladies and gentleman. Legend.

I agree with the sentiments of the OP about the dance sequence not being in spirit with the spirit and core of OG FF7. But the characters looked hot in that number, so I gave it a pass.

Let's face it. Virtually every hot springs/onsen/bathing suit scene in RPGs is fucking cringe.

I liked it too. I'm totally OK with Golden Saucer scenes going over the top.
Maybe this is where a scene like this would be fine but the game had so much of this horse shit up to this point I finally just threw in the towel.

Between the crappy pacing, and Ubisoft open world formula, I just couldn't.

I WANT to finish this but like I said every time I boot up after months of hiatus something like this happens or some idiotic mini game and I'm baffled who the fuck is this game for?

I'm better off watching the story on YT at this point…

Damn, I haven't played Rebirth yet, but that's Cringe Core™ alright.

I remember having some friends over to play Final Fantasy X-2 when it released. We knew it was just the girls this time around, but there were plenty of good female characters in FF before, so we weren't too worried, only to be immediately inundated with this:

None of us knew what to make of it, and the lyrics became a joke in the friend group.

I still answer the phone singing "what can I do for you" when they call, sometimes.

Ironically, the game (the battle system) was actually pretty good once you got past the intro and the stupid story.

Yeah that weeb shit is godawful OP, I don't think I'd make it through it either.

I uninstalled FFXIII after the "Moms are Tough" line. Shit was just too fuckin stupid for me.

I refuse to play the Final Fantasy games just because the main characters look so damned ridiculous. Is Cloud supposed to be gay, transexual, etc.? What is up with that absurd hair of his. It just comes across to me as "cringe" as the kids would say.

Calling that scene retarded is retarded in itself when the original which has the same kind of silliness.

Everybody's Gone to Rapture.

Nothing more than a walking simulator, the game feels incredibly cheap using particles to show the human 'ghost', slow pace I actually fell asleep from boredom. Couldn't bring myself to finish and uninstall it. It was a PS+ title so nothing of value was lost.

Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus.
Right in the beginning they want you to shoot a fucking dog.
Uninstalled.

Pretty sure that's the only time.
I've tried Wolf 2 this year and YES, this is the scene that made me uninstall the game.

We are getting trigger warnings in modern games for 'sexy stuff', but killing a defenseless animal is okay if it's for the story and ideological purposes.
