Some comic book t-shirts can be cool.

I've got the orange Goomba shirt that says "You Lose" on it. Never fails to get compliments/recognition. In fact, I'm wearing it right now.

That fruit fucker shirt rocks.

Sorry, guys. It's not "cool" to wear any video game shirt in public. For every 1 person who said "hey man! That's cool!", there were 43 who laughed at you.

Haha, this shirt is perfect for me:

These shirts will get you laid seriously. I have the black one and I get compliments on how funny the shirt is because people know I fix and build computers on the side.

I have a Sega World t-shirt with Sonic on it that always got me compliments from a fairly hot young woman at my former place of work.

P.S. That Green Lantern t-shirt rocks. Reminds of a Flash shirt I have:

Never wear it though. It's Xlarge :(

I would get the Fruit Fucker T-shirt but I'd be one of the thirty people in town that wouldknow what it was.

I think that would be a plus. Anyone who knew what it was would most likely like Penny-Arcade, and anyone else would just think it's a funny looking t-shirt.

I would be horribly embarrassed to wear a videogame shirt these days. It was cool back years ago when you had to scour these shady import websites to get an Atari soccer jersey, but when you can go into Hot Topic and buy a Zelda t-shirt, that's not cool. And everyone is wearing them these days, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I don't want to be mistaken for some douche who saw a Mario shirt in Hot Topic and bought it when I've been a die hard Nintendo fan since they started releasing consoles.

Please, these aren't diamonds. People didn't buy video game tshits as a status symbol. No matter where you found them, they were plentiful and affordably priced. Your elitist attitude amuses me though. I need to go upgrade my computer because I'd hate to be caught with out dated technology that every douch in america can easily pick up at Best Buy.

Your tag changes amuse me.

Yeah, Mike Works has taken my tag status as a pet project these past few weeks.

Huh. There are always people laughing at you anyway, whatever you wear.

Yeah, I wear these shirts all I time becauseI feel the fact that I play video games and my few other interest makes me special and defines me as a person. It's also a great way to get validated by complete strangers:D

I only have like 2 two shirts you would find at Hot Topic or a similar store, all the rest are from actual games. Ratchet & Clank Polo, Sly Cooper polo, etc. Most of my shirts are ones you would find at EB Games, since they have that ugly ass logo on the arm sleeve. I'm trying to get rid of these god damn shirts, so anyone want to buy some? They're rather small, even though they say...XL. Odd.

Sorry, but yes, people who used to buy videogame t-shirts bought them for a reason. To show brand loyalty, to show their "elite-ness" or whatever. It wasn't always as easy as heading to Kohl's or Hot Topic. In the past year or so, the number of videogame related t-shirts has shot up considerably. Even stuff that you could only buy online a year ago is now in Kohl's, being bought up by kids who think it's cool. Sorry if it's a bit of a sore spot with me.

I’d consider that a definite plus. I can’t admire anyone who outwardly seeks attention from their choice of t-shirt. Just wear what you like.

Hence why I have such a problem with those Hot Topic shirts. Yeah, people love wearing them… which is your average Hot Topic shopper…. who happens to be the type of person who will wear something just because the popular consensus say it’s popular (like Hot Topic) … and by the way, those same people were the same ones who used to call anyone who showed any true affinity towards video game fandom “NERD!!!!!” So I find most people who wear those shirts to be hypocritical assholes.

As for my favorite gaming shirts, I used to have a Sonic & Knuckles shirt which was just the logo, but it got too old to wear. I also have the shirt everyone got for pre-ordering a Dreamcast from EB, and I still wear it today (fucker has lasted forever). But my fave has to be a homemade AM2 logo shirt a friend made for me last year for my birthday.

The only people that get laughed at wearing videogame/comic shirts are ugly fat asses

that look like they belong in geek attire.

Good looking, confident people wearing comic/gaming shirts fall into a more socially

acceptable "geek chic" category the insecure flabby fucks that share our hobby will never

quite understand.

I dont know how many nervous sweaty fat dudes I've tried talking gaming to (in a gaming

store of all places) that would clam up and act like they've never played a game before

"uh...I'm buying a game for my cousin!".

All the Nintendo shirts posted thus far are retarded. And coincidentally, most of them are sold at Hot Topic. Go figure. I'd be down with seeing a Nintendo logo on a shirt, but the NES controller or the system itself and some fucking dumb phrase written on it... no.

Here's one that I don't feel ashamed to wear outside the house.
