For those who played the first one, is the game just as hard in the second one as it was in the first? I really had a problem at

I thought part 2 was slightly easier than the first actually.

I got stuck in Veiwtiful Joe 1 and I'm sad to say I never finished it, whereas I did complete the second.

i'm not sure if it's easier, but there's a lot more health around.

also the 36 chambers of viewitful aren't really easy at all.

You have to beat each boss right after another in vj2, but they let you save and power up after each one, plus the bosses are easier

I played it last night for about 2 hours, and I'm halfway through already.

I think the first time through, on kids, was 5-6. But when you add in the 36 chambers and the subsequent playthroughs.... it's about 5-6

Screw the 36 chambers, I am rushing through on Kids and being done with it! I DONT HAVE TIME TO BOTHER WITH SUCH THINGS, A BACKLOG AWAITS.

The 36 chambers are a series of objectives you have to clear, such as "CLEAR STAGE 2-2 WITH A RANKING OF A", and what not. There's a list on GameFAQs I believe.

VJ2 is much easier than the original. I would say that Adults on VJ2 is almost as easy as Kids on VJ1. Silvia is such a waste in VJ2 that if it wasn't for the fact that you have to use her to solve some puzzles, I would've never even tagged her in.

VJ2 Adults=VJ1 Kids
VJ2 V-rated=VJ1 Adults
VJ2 Ultra V-rated=VJ1 V-Rated

And so on.

You should get VJ2, if you can find it under $30. It's longer and has more missions, but has worse pacing and more useless moves then the original, which is superior. In fact, Viewtiful joe's pro's and con's when it comes to sequels is almost exactly the same as Devil May Cry's, which gives me hope that there will be a kickass Viewtiful Joe 3: Joe's Awakening planned.

The only part of VJ2 that I thought was difficult beyond being fun was the boss at the end of the fifth level. In fact, the entire fifth level pretty much sucked balls. I played on Adults.

Ok hey sup, double post but I am actually stuck in VJ2!

How do I turn the safe handle? It's in the third reel (invisible monster)...

I hit it once, it turns. Ok cool.

I have to hit it twice to match the icon, but after that it just...falls off.

I read a guide, and it says I have to RHOH(why this?) it, then use Silvia's record....yeah...doesn't seem to work.

That puzzle was a pain in the ass. It took me so long to beat that puzzle that it dropped my V rating to a B. I beat it a while ago so I don't remember how to do it. Sorry.
