August 1, 2005 - Capcom today revealed that the Nintendo DS action adventure Viewtiful Joe DS has received an official namechange. The game will now be called Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble.

Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble, scheduled for a holiday 2005 release, is a unique dual-screen take on the Viewtiful Joe brawler design introduced on the GameCube two years ago. The DS edition features touch-screen functionality that enables gamers to split the action in half, as well as swap the two screen display all with a flick of the finger.
