I still have a hard-on for the Dreamcast, so purely as a Sega-phile, I'm enjoying this game a lot more than I would be if I wasn't attuned to Sega's style. I'll get my $10 worth out of it, don't get me wrong - but it has so many issues, small and large, that I couldn't recommend it to anyone who didn't also have a major hard-on for Sega. The camera hardly moves unless you center it behind Sei. The controls are stiff and clunky. The required tutorials are incredibly lengthy. The combat system, while fun in a mindless way, does no justice to the Virtua Fighter name.
