EDIT: Video is noted as "Private" so it won't play
Also same character designer from Drakengard 3

The music is already touching my heart. And I look forward to the story that is going to break my heart.
I'm sooooooo glad they brought Fujisaka as character designer. The way this game is step up and game master narrating is really interesting.

Here I was thinking I would be playing Diablo 2 before heading to bed but I couldn't put the demo down for this. I will certainly be considering getting this at launch now.

I hope people won't sleep on this, its really fun take on JRPG. After playing the demo, I'm hype for this as much as I'm hype for SMT5.

So why isn't it on mobile, the perfect platform for card games?
It isn't really a "card" game, its turned based RPG but everything made out of cards, characters, towns and even fields , I for one very glad its not mobile game.

Had a very brief look last night, and this looks really good.

Not seen enough yet to get a sense of how Yoko-ish the writing is yet, but the translation seems good and its such a simple yet ingenious idea.
If done right, this could be a huge hit, especially on PC.

Just played few minutes of it, later when I have more time I'll continue. In any case really stylish and sleek design when it comes to menus, cards, overall look of the battles. I expected a card game but it's closer to a full fledged jrpg but with the cards being your characters and locales. Maybe I would've prefer a proper card game less text heavy but it looks interesting this way too.

Thus looks really cool. Just queued the demo and it's a prologue to the full game, so I'd suggest grabbing it if you're interested in this - just incase Squeenix pull another Balan and take it down.

Does demo progress transfer to the full version?

Gave it a shot - reminds me a bit of Thronebreaker, it was actually really nice and the action was moving rather fast. The music is out of this world, definitely a high point.

Kinda annoyed that main female character has lol tits portrait.

Cards are dumb.. but I love jrpgs and there is a free demo! Brilliance! It's great when I get to try things I'm not sure about. No excuses, I will finish the demo without complaint.. then I'll complain after like a good little angry gamer.

This is the game I'm most interested in out of this Nintendo Direct, I love me some card game, it's such an under-explored sub-genre. Glad that this will realease on PS4 and PC because I don't have a Switch.

I bet the big plot twist is going to be all this world is trapped in a 2D card dimension and the heroes will break out of it to regain a 4-dimensional plane and defeat the big bad responsible for this. Also the dragon is totally not a bad guy and you will feel bad for killing it.

Well it's definitely tied into Drakengard in some way with the focus on a dragon.

Installed the demo this morning before work but didn't have time to play it and I'm not taking my Switch Lite into work. Lmao.

Gonna jump on the demo ASAP when I get home.
