To paraphrase the creators somewhat, they set out to make Voltron as they remember it, not Voltron as it actually was.

I have been rewatching the first two seasons with my son, which has been great.
It's easily one of my favorite animated shows to release in the last few years.

Pretty much every Netflix show I've ever watched, including this one. Always too little story for the number of episodes made.

Seriously though, the lack of original Voltron theme is the only thing keeping this series from being Perfect for me. Very enjoyable otherwise.
