Today, The Hollywood Reporter brings word that a small screen adaptation of the Kurt Vonnegut book is headed to FX with none other than Noah Hawley at the helm. Hawley is currently best known for his acclaimed FX series “Fargo,” which expands on the world of Joel and Ethan Coen’s 1996 Academy Award-winning feature film of the same name. It was also recently announced that Hawley is developing “Legion,” a FOX series based on the X-Men character who, in the comic book continuity, is the schizoid son of Professor Charles Xavier.

Noah Hawley is attached to both write and executive produce Cat’s Cradle with Brad Yonover and Sandi Love set as co-executive producers.

Yes! My favorite Vonnegut book. I always felt it would make a good series.

Ehh...I hope the best for it and it would be interesting if it turned out as great as Fargo has been. I love the book, but just don't want to see a poor adaptation.
