vtubers?

knowing all the history and context between the two, it's really touching for Hachama to do this. I hope in the future there will be a day they can collab (again).

and Pekora getting absolutely destroyed in Escape From Duckov is hilarious. I might pick this up eventually since it's single player and less stressful.

In general Bibou is probably my favorite Hololive members out of the English branch now. I really like how she likes challenges in games and her humor is great too.

what's the appeal of streamers in general? movie stars? singers? it's the same thing. vtubers would play games, sing and dance and even perform sketches. different viewers could also seek different things from the same vtuber. some for their singing. some for their humor. some just like seeing cute girls/guys doing cute things. it's just something to entertain yourself with.

IMO, because it's a relatively new thing in the entertainment circle so it has a certain degree of freedom to it allowing the performers to project a little more of themselves into the role they're playing. this makes the performance more genuine and from the heart, so to speak. imagine, a movie star or a singer actually reacting/responding to a question you have, or thanking you by name for something you did. telling you how their day had been or maybe even opening up to you about some of her vulnerabilities and insecurities. perhaps then you can see why a lot of people are into this.

I wonder if it's because of her 150 hours of fishing for Shiny Magikarp or all the other games she play? but no matter what, Miko getting a nomination of content creator of the year at TGA is definitely a wonderful surprise, even to herself.


 
Hope her surgery ends well and this also right before Countdown 25-26 and Holofes. Hope she managed to pre-record for Countdown, if she is in it.

Just seen that Kiara and Ina are doing a concert, just those 2 and the tickets are a minimum of $95.

That seems crazy high. Could go watch Electric six 3 times for that.

Doesn't really sound like "We aren't forced to do anything, we can do whatever we want", sounds like the exact opposite in her case.
 
it's sad to see our gorilla angel graduating, but health is more important of course. she's the rare "straight man" amongst all the comedians in HoloLive and she had always been great at supporting others, so it's a shame to see her leave. Kanata stated that she'll go back to working a regular job after this. I wonder if it's more of a life choice kinda thing then? she had her concert last year and she probably had done all that she wished to do as a vtuber. no matter what thou, my best wishes to her in the future.

Think it's more of her health conditions just make streaming hard that it's not something she would want to continue as not Kanata. She's been very open over the last year about her meniere's disease worsening, and she was already deaf in one ear when she joined (she's even stated before Hololive were the only ones to give her a chance) and the other ear is getting worse, and her surgery, from what I understand, has had side effects. She was already canceling streams to her worsening disease but on top of that she also recently took a break do to also having asthma and her medicine for it had caused side effects,

The poor girl has been streaming and singing on hard mode for years.
