Game's art stinks, looks like league of legends and generic.
Is 'Arclight' a brand or genre or something else I'm missing? Seems like a weird word to include in the product's title.
Yeah, I remember that from WoW, but the standalone Arclight seemed random to me.It's a term from Warcraft. "Arclight spanner" is the only instance I'm familiar of, but one assumes "Arclight" is just some catchall for Gnomish type things.
disgusting
Nah. All the key creative talent left and what's left is a bunch of nobodies desperate to please their corporate overlords.Blizzard are intentionally antagonizing their veteran (and lapsed) fans at this point right?
This is intentional provocation and aggravation.
holy shit actual bannable offense
I kinda agree. I don't see this game lasting even two years. It's way too derivative and it lacks that Blizzard magic to make long time fans try it out.I honestly couldn't finish that video. This is something that nobody wanted. It's gonna bomb and rightfully so. Also you couldn't have made a more annoying video if you tried to show it off with.
I don't mind this, I like tower defense games, why is everyone so hateful? It's a mobile game, what did you expect really ??

Nadella showing Spencer he paid 70 billion for a free to play mobile game.
Disgusting.and what a cringe video from the devs
Don't these dislikers have phones? It was worth installing a Youtube Dislikes extension just for this...
Which is why they revealed this now and not at Blizzcon, because they most likely have learned not to reveal these types of games at conventions full of hardcore fans.
Member when a bunch of sweet summer children claimed mobile gaming isn't going to ruin console/PC gaming? And how these can co-exist?A lot of people here tend to underestimate the giant behemoth that is the mobile market.
What mushrooms are you on if I may ask? Blizzard is NOT abandoning pc gaming whatsoever. They even made Diablo Immortal for PC after the backlash to satisfy who asked for it and it's cross platform.Member when a bunch of sweet summer children claimed mobile gaming isn't going to ruin console/PC gaming? Well, they do for now for the most part, but this game is how the mobile market ruins gaming. You get devs such as Blizzard completely abandoning PC gaming and their fans in order to attract the normie hordes who don't think videogames are more than disposable apps to kill the time in the bus and completely forget about them after the next batch is released.
Basically, mobile "gaming" steals developers from console/PC gaming. Only rarely it's the other way around, if there's any.
Blizzard traded the edgy, cool, dramatic, and sexy for this whimsical toon shit for some reason. Even though 90% of the crap in the market all looks like the same generic cartoony shit they all pretend to be overly excited for it. It's cringe as fuck.OMG have you guys seen the video? How is this Blizzard and wtf happened lmao
It seems this is the only type they hire for prominent positions nowadays in the west, or at least the ones they put in front of the camera. It's not just them either.. it's the whole industry. I've played Destiny since launch and watching their content update videos over the years you can really see the change in both the developers and their attitudes/philosophies.They need to ban certain developers from appearing on videos like this. Just stop. You're not funny, you have no charisma and 99% of the time not even that pleasing to look at.
It's a lose-lose situation when doing trailers like this. Either devs do it and have to force a smile and try their hardest to be charismatic, or they hire a famous actor, YouTuber, or voice actor and it ends up appearing just as forced for different reasons. It seems this is the only type they hire for prominent positions nowadays in the west, or at least the ones they put in front of the camera.
