Was Martina Hingis the sexiest tennis player of all time?

I always liked Hingis in a "I'd hit that" kinda way. Meaning, given the choice I'd wife someone like Eugene, no questions asked. But if the choice is say a hot weekend partying and ... well... you know... Hingis would and always has been my number 1 choice of the tennis court.

And mind you, that was before her drug stories came out. Seems my impression of her personality was never far off.

I feel like we’re several years past women’s tennis being a big thing in the cultural zeitgeist (in the US anyway). I remember it being a pretty big deal in the 00s when it was a Williams vs Sharapova.

Now the decline in mindshare is likely because the Williams sisters aren’t that great anymore and also because the current crop of players just aren’t very attractive (although a quick glance through their rankings shows that at least they’re not underaged).

Honestly old men watching tennis and saying these 16 year old girls are hot is something I won’t miss.

Because of feminism and victim mentality. Because, if you think about, if a male tennis player would be sexualized in a similar way, men wouldn't complain.

I dunno if it were a bunch of old disgusting women doing it I probably wouldn't like it. Having said that, if even old women were getting the hots for me I'd probably have a chance with the younger blood too so bring it on.

Kournikova was nice but Giorgi from Italy has Bouchard beat pretty easily for me...especially when you see them playing tennis in day to day situations and not all done up for photo shoots.

Ah, a man of culture. Watching her play makes my head spin

She's got the type of body a soccer mum from 1987, who stopped caring 7 years into her marriage, so is just meh

Hey so I am just going to reply here hoping to find other tennis fans since I still am Juniored. Anyone care making a general Tennis thread? I picked up my racket again about 2 months ago after not playing for over 16 years, and would like to discuss with others the advances in racket tech along with just general Tennis discussion.

As far as beautiful tennis players for me back in the day it was :

Graf
Sabatini
Capriati
Kornikova

Loved watching Monica Seles though, but she didn't hit the mark for me visually as much as the above :)
