Watch Kanye West repeatedly get his ass handed to him

"I was going to to change my outfit to some normal leather pants."

This guy is so far gone from having any idea what normal is.

I had a good laugh at that.

If I had cash like Kanye west, I'd rock $120 t-shirts all day long, you don't get Kim Kardashian rocking fruit of the loom.

Any chance we can quarantine this guy in an |OT|?

he didn't look at sway or charlemagne when he spoke.

he's scared. got shut down and he's looking like a crazy person. i miss silent kanye west. you realize he's a freaking idiot when he speaks now.

should have just let the music talk, the good times.

Its crazy, for a while I guess I convinced myself that he was playing a character in a way, but he really may just be that delusional.

He's pissed that people walk over him and exploit him for his money. Yet he lets them so he can reach a higher media presence. Then he uses his media presence to preach that he is getting fucked over. So he sells out to recoup what he lost. Cycle repeats...

Is this what I'm getting from him?

Basically Charlamagne tears apart his contradictions when it comes to branding and commericalism and a rejection of it despite being a Nike (adidas?) shill. Kanye proceeds to ramble incoherently and reveal just how stupid he is. Great producer, intellect of an ant.

I think I understand what Kanye is trying to say. When he mentions corporate slaves it sounds like he's discussing what he thinks is the nature of man - that we are all slaves to the system and materialism and can't quite escape them. But when he begins railing on specific brands, he's arguing against the business practices of particular companies which don't support his goals.

I think these are two very different topics and Kanye could do well to separate them when he's having one of those ridiculous rants of his. He did a better job at differentiating the supposed contradiction in this interview but not every one will call him out on it so the onus should be on him clarify his words lest we think he's a rambling inconsistent moron.

Kanye is a crusader that only gives a crap about shit that impacts him. It's all selfishness on his end.

I understand Kanye is universally disliked. I was merely commenting on the influx of threads about him the past year. He almost gets as many thread as beiber these days

Fucking stupid, that interview was some real shit and eye opening for me. There was some really eye opening stuff in there and to make fun of it is just childish. Making fun of Kanye is bottom of the barrel comedy these days.

Guys I just don't know any more.

I like Yeezus, though not as much as his earlier stuff, but it's clear he comes off like a blathering idiot in interviews.

I couldn't imagine being around him. He goes on and on with inane ramblings with this look in his eyes like he is saying the most enlightening shit of all time.

It's actually revealing on one point. When he rails against corporations he's not criticizing the system of corporate media manipulation and phoniness, he's criticizing the individual employees of whatever corporations he's referencing because they don't recognize him for the genius he thinks he is.

The thing that's great about Kanye is how he'll tie an argument to a random historic name or event like he must prove a level of worldly intelligence. What's next?

"I'm like Gregor Mendel when he was growin' them pea plants."

Charlamagne is a great troll no matter who the artist is. Kanye ain't ready for the people actually treating him like a normal person.

Also yall making fun of the $100 Hip Hop shirts and stuff but ain't look at Jay Z's x Barney's overpriced clothing lol.

$2600 Leather boxing shorts

$675 Ski Mask.

But Jay gets the pass because it's Jay. If Kanye did it, it would be a crime.

ProtectYeezus

All the people who ever made it big first had to constantly complain and whine in the public about why they weren't successful at what they wanted to do and how everyone is ripping them off. Just a little more whining and Wal Mart and Apple better watch their sales collapse to the new king of product in town!

If I were on a board of directors and my CEO thought Kanye was a genius, I'd fire him so fast.

Also, the OP's tag.

I don't like kanye myself much, but the obsession some people have to find any negative news about him and create threads about it is disturbing.
