I agree it's a missed oppurtunity for them not to have released it before a holiday weekend (in the States), but it's silly to only care because the theives are getting it before you. Same thing happens with music. If you're that miffed just download it.

Unless physical retailers begin breaking the street date en masse, Ubi's hands are more or less tied -- they (and the local distributors Ubi partners with, if any) would be none too happy about the digital version of the game being given a notable release date advantage.

Similarly, Valve wanted to unlock Portal 2 the Friday before release, as per the clue in the bathysphere image, but EA (Valve's retail distribution partner) complained at the last minute and instead the unlock date was pushed back to Monday, which is why we got the clearly-rigged GLaDOS@Home mess. I wouldn't be shocked if Valve partners with a different company for its next physical release (Acti or 2K would be a good fit).

To be fair, he could have been referring to a 4GB 670, but even so considering the cards are 2GB by default you'd think such a detail would have been explicitly mentioned.

In fairness, it doesn't really make any sense to bump up the release date just because some people illegally obtained copies of the game.

What do you mean "clearly not in high"? Everything in that pic suggest that most is on "High" (in fact everything in that specific pic is set to high), granted i dont know if the other settings are all on Low, but it doesnt make sense for them to be.

In any case I hope you are right cause this is darn pathetic to be even suggested as a next gen title.

Is there no PC streams/copies in the wild yet so we can get a good comparison? Seems lot's of people have the console game and are streaming but nothing regarding the PC version!

Edit: I'm not actually getting it on PC as my mates on ps4 want to have a blast with me on it but I'm just curious to how it holds up
