The only thing that bugs me about this game is the driving mechanics. Why create an open world where the cars handle like shit?

Seems like it, they're not restricting it by date apparently.
It's fun from what I'm hearing. GTA with hacking and the online stuff is apparently really good. Guns handle well, cars handle well and city feels alive on PS4/PC.

Nah, I got to see more gameplay, and it's clear it isn't the cars so much as it's the players. I've seen terrible drivers, and I've seen damn good drivers, and the driving skill can be leveled up.

The driving skill can be levelled up? From what I've seen it didn't have anything that improved handling but skills usable with driving.

I don't know, but some videos I've watched had multiple people saying the driving ability can be leveled up. I've seen people who handle the cars well, take sharp corners exceedingly well, and then I've seen the total opposite of that where people are crashing left and right, tearing up the streets and killing every civilian.

Well, you would have to render a mirrored version of the street (not so bad when yo are only looking at the reflection, but would nearly double the rendering load if you could see both the mirrored reflection and the real normal world at the same time).

Reading some performance comments on systems similar to mine are not very heartening.
A combination of medium and low settings just to get a solid 30fps at 1080p. Oh well, my system has chugged along good for the last 4 years, it should last me until I upgrade next year after tax returns come in.
