Spain has been trying to get their flag on Gibraltar for ages now, and now seems like the perfect opportunity. Gibraltar now has ~2 years of EU protections left as of now. After that, there's really nothing stopping Spain from doing what they want to pressure Gibraltar over to their side; taxes, tariffs, border restrictions, etc.
Unless Britain were to hand Gibraltar over to another EU nation, but wow that is never ever going to happen.
