Wendy's still has the best Spicy Chicken.

I feel the same way... but I am biased as I worked at Wendy's for three years. When I would make my own, I would put on a slice of cheese and 3-4 strips of bacon.....delicious! What always bothered me is that Wendy's nails the Spicy, but the grilled and regular chicken are pretty terrible.

Thats where places like Chic Fil a shines. All their shit is pretty damn good. Though I have not had the Popeyes sandwich to compare, so I am not sure if it lives up to the hype. Looks' good though.

What fast food chain is better? Back when I was living in SF with its hundreds of food options, I would still go on long drives outside the city to get Chik-fil-a or In-n-out on occasions.

The Spicy is the one thing they didn't change since Dave Thomas died and if they ever change it I'll never go to Wendy's again.

I'm still mad they've never brought back the ORIGINAL Monterey Ranch Chicken since he died. And the new Big Bacon Classic is stupid because it's not on the same roll as before. Arby's is ruining Wendy's. But their breakfast is great.

Where do you get your info? No single item they sell is close to ten bucks. Least of which their sandwiches. They're 3.50-5.00.

Just had my first spicy grilled chicken sandwich from CFA. It was good. Not as good as their fried, but better than their regular grilled.

My secret combination that I think combines the best of all of CFA: Regular fried sandwich with pepperjack cheese and cilantro lime sauce. Or switch out the lime sauce with honey bbq. Combo that with waffle fries dipped in CFA sauce and a Sprite with extra lemon wedges (no joke, try it with extra lemon. it's like a brand new drink.)

I had one the other day and it was insanely good. It's in a class of its own really (grilled + spicy).

Popeyes is still the one to beat on the fried side

Wendy's is right behind that.

Wendy's spicy chicken is great, but they havent changed the patty or introduced a new patty in well over a decade. those jalapeno sandwiches they roll out just dont cut it. Popeyes changed the game and Wendys is being stubborn. At least BK is trying. Theirs seems to be a copycat of Popeyes but thats not necessarily a bad thing since there are far more burger kings than popeyes. You dont have to go to a bad neighborhood to get your chicken fix. there is a BK in every suburb. lets hope they dont fuck this up.

One of the best fried chicken sandwiches that I have eaten - that is actually spicy - is Fry the coop in Chicago and flavor it hot. Or go to Nashville.
