Weezer music -- post-Maladroit, pre-Make Believe

I remember that there was a huuuge influx of Weezer music one summer (or maybe even spanning an entire year or more) that was never released on any album and likely never will be. Yet, I didn't bother at the time to download much of it. I may have gotten just a handful of songs which I've lost since.

So, a couple things

Can someone give me a list of what to look for? Maybe isolate what you think was their best material?

And where could I find it? I've got Soulseek, but it often doesn't work well for unpopular music (not to suggest that Weezer isn't popular). Is there a website that has some songs? Or another client that would have them?

Much appreciated

He talking about when Rivers freaked out, fired management, and posted every demo the band was making on the website on a daily basis. Then he let fans suggest stuff and get into huge debates with people.

It was not post maladroit, it was actually between Green and Maladroit. Which is why some people say Maladroit didnt sell as well, because alot of the demos of the songs were already available.

I THINK I have them all from downloading them via weezer.com during the whole episode, but he was posting 1-4 demos a week, and I could have missed a couple.

Right after Maladroit Rivers released a bunch of album 5 demos that were better than Maladroit material but still very weak. You can go to weezernation.com to get all of them plus other stuff.

Here are some new promo pics of the band:

Apparently the video for "Beverly Hills" is finished and should be making its debut within the next couple of weeks. The actual song might premier on KROQ this week.

I still just want RC to go back and make Songs from the Black Hole, "Blast Off," even in demo form is amazing.

Hellz yeah. My all time favorite Rivers/Weezer song is 'Lover In The Snow'. What a great great song.

Blast Off is WAY up there for me.
I love Falling for You and Across the Sea.
Weezer is, to me, the most frustrating band of all time. Their debut and follow-up sparkle and nothing since those two has recaptured what the band had. At least they lost Matt Sharp, so I can always say "Yeah I like Weezer, but only the original linep."

Except Jason Chopper is the original member that everyone forgets Pete Best style.

The original album 5 demos were incredibly weak; thank goodness they were scrapped.

As for the current album 5, though, I have very high hopes for it. Everything that Karl has been posting on weezer.com is very promising.

And Blast-Off is amazing
