The seven-day week is bullshit.

It doesn't leave us with enough time to rest, socialize, spend time with family, enjoy life, recover from hang-overs, etc.

So why not have an eight day week instead?

5 days on, 3 days off, etc.

Anyone else help me push this agenda through congress? Lord knows they aren't doing shit else.

Also, while we're at it, fuck daylight savings time.

I think a fair traditional work week should be Monday-Thursday.

Friday-Sunday are the weekends. Its a pretty fair balance, given how Fridays are mostly casual days in most offices.

Hospitality/Retail is another story though.

Also, to respond to the "10 hours, 4 days" people: I'm salaried, not hourly, so the number of hours in the day doesn't really affect me that much.

But for those of you who want to do the 10 hour day, go for it. You'll then have a four-day weekend.

I need all the allies I can get.

I've worked 4/10's before and it was a real struggle the last hour or 90 min. Three day weekends were awesome though. I've also worked 9/80's (every other Friday off). I liked those more. However when going back to a normal 8 hour day (8.5 w/lunch) the day goes by much faster.

The best schedule I ever had was 5 on 4 off.

Monday to Friday we worked an extra hour (so 8:30 to 5:30). In return we got every second Friday off of work. It was GLORIOUS

That's 73 weeks... so 11 months with 6 weeks and one month with a seventh week.

Thank goodness Obama is turning this country into a fascist socialist dictatorship. He could just ram the agenda through without congressional approval if we could only convince him that it would benefit the banks and establish more co-op farms.
