Wendy's new Sweet & Spicy Asian Chicken is awesome

Just had some for dinner, and there is actually some spice to it! Quite pleased with the flavor, to be honest. Wasn't expecting it to be this good. The pieces of chicken were juicy and didn't have any fat in them. A great alternative to Panda Express orange chicken, since I just moved to a Pandaless city.

Good stuff! Anyone else try it yet?

Wendy's gets a big thumbs up from me because their combo meals allow you to pick other stuff instead of Fries . . . salads! Baked Potatoes!

Edit: And I love Wendys Chili . . . fingers and all. Be sure to spice it up with a packet or two of their Chili oil though.

Yeah I know it was a hoax.
 
Looks good! Wendy's used to have a spicy chicken salad that really had some kick. I could have lived off it, but they dropped it from the menu.

Yah, I always get a Caesar side salad, but I don't put the dressing on it. The croutons provide enough flavor for me, and cuts down on the calories.
 
Holy crap! I MUST have this tonight. Panda Express is my favorite place to go when I'm out of town (I have none here either).

Baked potato w/ sour cream and butter as a side = heaven
 
That looks delicious. I wonder if my Wendy's will ignore placing this on their menu like they did with the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. I so wanted to try it... ;.;

Wendy's could get fucked with a sick dick for all I care. I spent 3 bucks on one of those toffee frosties and got nasty melted ice cream with candy on the bottom. Their burgers suck, fries suck, the only thing worth getting is the damn potatoes and chili. If I wanted expensive fast food I would go to Carl's Jr and get my money's worth. Over all, the restaurant is pretty meh...
 
After you get done with it all, you still have lots of sauce left over..

Where is the rice? I would swoop if it had rice. Well, I may still give it a go, we have a lot of microwave brown rice.
 
Tonight is my fast food night. I was just going to go to BK and get the amazing Steakhouse burger, but I might try this instead.

Yes, because all Wendy's restaurants are indicative of the one you went to.

On topic, I bummed some off a co-worker today and they were really good. Only thing I would say is I wish they were a bit crispier in the sauce.

I'm gonna be upfront with this web of hatred I am sowing, I don't know if the specific flavor of "chicken giblets in a pathetic little dish" was Seet & Spicy Asian or not, but holy fuck do I remember it sucking ass.

It might have been asian Really Fucking Spicy or whatever other flavor they had, but dizzamn was I feeling ultimately ripped off, to the point where I'd rather just chow down on one of their shitty $1 chicken sandwhiches.

All that said, their Spicy Chicken or w/e they call it is pretty damn good. I'd place it about 4th after Jack in the Crack's Spicy and Homemade and probably Sonic's grilled sandwhich. Above anything Whataburger does.

Maybe not exactly the same price. I get a student discount for the Carl's Jr food and not the Wendy's food. Also, I'm just lumping the prices of the combos together.
 
I actually had these back in January and they were good. No idea they were new.

The chicken was kind of bad but the sauce was real good and made up for it. Try dipping your fries in the sauce next time.

Wendy's overall costs the same as McD or BK or pretty much most other cheap fast food places. There are some items on the menu that are expensive, but that goes for every place. You can eat an awesome meal for $4.

PS their burgers don't suck. Fries are a matter of opinion. I guess some do prefer the floppy soggy ones or the air-filled crunchy ones. I prefer something with substance.

Spicy chicken combo with a salad + knife will get you reasonably close.
 
I LOVE Wendys. Its the only fast food that doesn't make me feel guilty after eating it. Spicy Chicken Sandwich ftw.

I'll have to try out that new stuff. Looks tasty.
 
I didn't enjoy them at all.. the chicken nuggets and their honey mustard makes the rest of what they have look like shit, though.
 
I love wendys. When I was in elementary school I used to eat chili, a jr bacon cheeseburger, and a ceasar side salad all the time...

Now? Still great as hell. Will try.
 
Oh man, I've gotten addicted to the sweet & spicy Asian ones. It's about the best fast food out there as far as I'm concerned. You get this combo and a small chocolate frosty, dip the fries in the frosty = Xanadu. (And a big Xanda-doo-doo later AMIRITE)
