Were you ever scared somebody will see what you're playing?

I remember in Yakuza 5, there was a campaign with Haruka.
It's not bad, but it's a bit cringey. I had to lock my room while playing that. Imagine if your mom/dad/gf saw that you play that. Jesus christ. It would be easier to explain porn than that.
How can you explain princess league to someone? They'd immidiately raise eyebrows. It was a long time ago, but I also remember that you had to go buy shoes with that lady. You see what I'm talking about?
How in gods name could you explain to lets say your mom, that you're playing as a young girl and buying shoes?
I remember not only locking my room but also lowering volume. That whole Haruka section is cringey as fuck, imo.
Anyway, I thought I'd share this with yall.
Did any of you had similar experiences?

I feel so fucking self-conscious watching any cutscene in Kingdom Hearts
It's more comfortable stripping enemies in Akiba's Trip

Games with sex scenes, like Witcher 3, I feel a little awkward if someone is watching me play because I guess it just makes me worry they think I'm a weirdo if they aren't a gamer who understands the game I'm playing

Persona 5 is a game I love to death but if my mom or dad saw it in action they would have no idea what they were looking at.

No. No different than watching a movie with nudity, sex, violence or whatever.

Then again I am wayyyyyy past the point of really giving a shit what others think of me.

That describes pretty much any game or TV show I play or watch. Granted my family don't watch anime, play games, etc.

To answer you question though, I locked my room up right when playing Devil May Cry 2.

Jumping Flash 2.
Game looked super kiddy but at the same time fire af.

One time at Sears I saw a demo and said "nobody's gonna play that" as a few kids walked by.

When the coast was clear....
I was over there playing it. Lmao

I also remember renting the game at blockbuster video and told the guy it was for my "sister" he looked at me like.....wtf ever just pay.

In HS I installed GTA 2 on my assigned PC(K6-2 with slight OC, iirc) and whenever our teacher would make his rounds to see if anybody needed help and check what they were doing, I'd just try to get into a car and act like it was a driving game. Heaven forbid if he would have seen a Kill Frenzy.:messenger_face_screaming:

Midget on chimp porn. Not everyone is as open minded as me.

Oh, you mean games wise? Then no, other than my kids seeing something unsuitable for them.
