That's funny, Amazon says East doesn't come out until the 7th, but I bought it months ago.

Just as quick as I fell in love with Muse, I also got bored with them. Hopefully their next album will have more 'depth'.

Right now, I'm listening to:

Did anyone else get into Muse when they released Showbiz in North America all those years ago? Seems like most Americans caught on with Absolution...

I too prefer OoS over Showbiz, any word if that will ever be released in North America? It's not like it's The Holy Bible (Manics album) or anything.

I haven't heard anything. I simply imported it. $35 CDN with shipping. Which isn't too bad, considering it's the ultimate Muse. :)

Yeah, I picked it up a couple years back at a local import shop for $22, well worth every penny.

I'm not even gonna try to explain what kinda sound these guy have, it's just something you gotta listen to for yourself. I suggest the "Scent of the Obscene" if you are looking for a good track by them to check out.

Yeah I did. But I didnt really fall in love until Origin of Symmetry which is beyond fantastic. Got it the day it came out and blew me the fuck away on the first listen.

I dont think itll ever be released here, the reason it wasnt in the first place was due to it being "commercially unviable" and the band were asked to rerecord it, of course they told Maverick to fuck off, resulting in them being dropped. Its no Holy Bible but theyre completely different kinds of albums if youre refering to theyre difference in quality. Both of these albums would be in my top ten for theire respective decade so far.

in any case I just got these:

B0002L581I.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

B0002S94BG.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg

and listening to the new Mansun single on constant repeat counting down the days til the boxset comes out :D

Fatboy Slim - Palookaville.

I really like Joker, Don't let the man, Slash dot dash, and wonderful night. They're all very much more 'happy mood' in comparison to most of Fatboy Slims stuff, but I like it that way :)

Eminem

goddamit, Griese!

I was listening to the Coco Rosie song 'Good Friday' in the car and the people with me freaked out over it. They thought the other one was singing along and kept accusing each other of it.

more adventurous is not as tight or as hooky as execution. i kind of like jenny's vocals when they're all tinny and lo-fi too. she sounds much fuller on the new record. good and bad.

Very haunting and relaxing:

A few excellent tracks, though I'd say I don't like it as a whole:

Older, but still fresh and hard:

Eh, a dissapointment to me. Love Jennifer Folker on "Gray Over Gray" though:
