I really like this album. To the person who asked how we discover music, I obviously "discovered" David Byrne's solo work after becoming majorly obsessed with the Talking Heads. Grown Backwards is a much gentler and reflective side of Byrne than I'm used to seeing, and that's what I like about it.

It is the CD version, I bought it a couple years ago online. Why?

Just curious. She only sold that at some shows she did a while back so it's kinda rare. I have the vinyl and I've been looking for the CD for a reasonable price (no luck though).

Mint Records actually sold it on their website back in late 2002, that's how I snagged it, although I did see it for sale on CD last summer when I saw her perform at the Portland Zoo.

edit: Damn, I just looked on ebay and it's going for $35. I think I paid $8 for it... I had no idea it was out of print.

My copy was stolen last spring, so I'm patiently waiting until February for the 10th Anniversary CD/DVD set to be released in North America.

Wow that sucks man. I'd freak if my copy was stolen, I got it autographed by James back in 96.
