The in-store performance and signing is at 7pm at the Queen Anne Easy Street. I'd be going to the show at Neumo's, but we're moving into our new apartment that night, so I'm somewhat in the doghouse already for skipping out at 7pm for an hour or so...

Oh yeah, The Mountain Goats are also really great so I've been listening to them. They have a ton of material to draw from and from what I've heard, it's mostly good. Love that acoustic, lo-fi folk/pop.

The Futureheads really aren't very good.

But the first song on that LP fucking kills me every time, it's soooooooooooo good. It just kinda went downhill from there for me. Could be a lot worse though.

The Futureheads are awesome. I'd take 'em over any of those stupid hip dance-punk bands anyday. They're better than Franz, better than Bloc Party, way way way better than The Killers and all their clones.

They don't try too hard to be cute and dancey. They just fuckin' rock out. With vocal harmonies.
