Architecture in Helsinki- In Case We Die: GENIUS. I can't stop listening to this album. It's one of the few CDs I've been able to listen to all the way through lately. It's pure pop joy.

The Magic Numbers- S/T: Some songs are boring, but it's got a lot of fun songs that remind me of The Polyphonic Spree.

The Features- Exhibit A: Decent. "Blow It Out" is a good piece of power pop.

Also, The New Pornographers' "Twin Cinema" from their upcoming album of the same name is great.

This song is good too, the band is called Ninfant. Pixies and Pavement pop.

Just got hold of the new Son Volt album "Okemah and the Melody of Riot." It seems quite good so far, not quite as good as "Trace" but it seems to be right up there with the other stuff. I'm happy to see the band back in action, even if it is an all new line up aside from Jay.
