The Perfume Genius album has an incredibly unique sound. It's hard to even describe. It's a mix of funk bass lines, reverb laced hand claps, full on string and choir arrangements, layered and soaring lead vocals, Rhodes keys, wailing guitar lines, and some 70's and 80's synth work. It's like Wild Beasts decided to do a psych soundtrack for an 80's romantic album. This duet with Weyes Blood called Sides was blowing my mind last night.

EDIT: i guess after reading through beato's OP. I suppose Chamber Pop is an appropriate descriptor. It's definitely got a tinge of the 70's radio pop in it as well.
