What are you playing now?? (GameCube)

I have been mostly spending time with Resident Evil 4. I bought it on ship-date but I was finishing Baten Kaitos at the time.

Baten Kaitos was a great RPG. The battle system was just awesome. The story was cool, but i think the ending was a lil disappointing. 50 hours was my total playtime.

Resident Evil 4 might be the game of this generation. It is just awesome. It keeps getting better and better. Right now im ending Chapter 2-3.

Star Fox Assault rocks. I just picked it up a few hours ago. I am in mission 2 which is Katina, featuring orchestrated Katina music from Star Fox 64. I am having a lot of fun with this game.

I also picked up Metroid Prime 2. Very cool menu. It seems like more of the same, nothing excitingly new.

Also just picked up Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II Plus. I owned the original on Dreamcast, and the sequel on GameCube. I sold it a few months ago cause i needed cash, so i picked up this slightly enhanced version. Need to build up my character and mag again.

CUBE R0X !!!!! :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Pikmin 2. The Dungeons kick ass; just a whole shitload of fun, with enough strategy involved and no time limits to constrict me. Loving it...but I suck at parts. I'm down to like 8 Purples, and I was at like 25. I try to be careful, but they just keep getting raped.

Playing through Super Mario Sunshine again. Although lately, I've been spending the majority of my time with the NDS (Super Mario 64 & Zoo Keeper.)

Resident Evil 4 (just started chapter 3-3 tonight). Bought it on launch and it waited while a finished watching all the ~ 20 Korean/Japanese movies some of you recommended.

Resident Evil 4 -- Finished the game.. playing assignment Adda

Baten Kaitos -- Just Started..

Paper Mario -- Just Started.. 2004 was too crowded -_-

Planning to get -- Jungle Beat & Viewtiful Joe 2

my most played console is GC.. I can't see why some people hate the cube so much.. give it a try ;)

Nintendo waits forever before they make their games players choice. :(

I want to play Paper Mario, Pikmin2, and RE4, but I rarely buy games for full price anymore considering my backlog. Nintendo is definitely one of the worst offenders in keeping their games at full price for too long (RE4 doesn't really count because it is brand new).

Pikmin 2 and Resident Evil 4.

RE4 is GOTY in my book. Actually, game of the generation. No other game has wowed me and kept me riveted from beginning to end like this one has. It's very cinematic.

I'm trying to rent Star Fox Assualt, but Blockbuster is out and with that new "return it when you want" policy, who the hell knows when it'll be coming back in.

I'm still playing through Baten Kaitos.

I'm half way through RE4 on pro (I've already beat the game 4-5 times, so this is going to be my last play through for awhile)

I also started an new game of Pikmin 2.

I'd probably be done with RE4 if I wasn't sidetracked by my brand new DS and Astro Boy: Omega Factor.

RE 4 Mercenaries. Its almost a crime how good the game is. I keep meaning to get back to Megaman X Command Mission or Rebel Strike, but I can't stop playing Mercenaries.

Nothing at the moment. I'm already spent on RE4 and I don't see myself touching my Gamecube again for a long time

i was inspired by a gaf thread to pop in waverace blue storm. good fun. looks nice in component video. i need to get back to re4 as well...it's been a couple weeks.

I've been playing Star Fox Assault the last few days... I like it a lot.

On the non-Cube side of things, I'm still working through Minish Cap & just downloaded the single-player demos of Painkiller, which I somehow skipped... That's a seriously great FPS. I think I'll have to spring for the full package.

RE4

That game is fun. It's what I expected Doom 3 to be like.

Nothing at the moment. I tried getting into ToS, but it has been a little disappointing so far. :( Way too much hype in my opinion. I should have picked up Paper Mario 2 instead I think, but now I'll wait til it's Player's Choice.

Just finished the amazing RE4, but there's nothing else out there on GCN that even remotely interests me until mature Zelda.

Don't be a dumbfuck. I am not drawn to the upcoming Zelda because it's "mature" I only even said the damn word because that's what a lot of people call it. Nothing on GCN being interesting to me has nothing to do with a perceived maturity.

I think he was joking. :lol

Anyway I'm not playing anything on the cube now. I will be getting to Tales of Symphonia and Twin Snakes one day, but right now it's Shinobi and Ace Combat 4 on the PS2.

Btw I just found out I can trade in my PS2 for $90 at GameRush. $149 - $90 = PSTWO GET!!!

RE4 all the way. Other than that, love my GameBoy Player. Besides RE4, the GBA player is the best thing about the system, combined with the Hori pad.

Pikmin 2
I'm a stickler for whatever reason about getting all the treasures before I move on to a new dungeon or area. The game is pretty fun, I wish there were more puzzles and less enemies however. I hate seeing my pikmin bite the dust. I believe Ive lost over 500 Pikmin already, with about 135 treasures found. Those damn rock bombs took out about 50 pikmin once, and a few bosses rolled on 40 or so a few times. There's nothing sadder than seeing half your army getting crushed by a rolling rock... you just sit there and gasp as your precious pikmin evaporate. :(

Currently trying to get back into Tales of Symphonia, but the lure of "one more go" on RE4 Mercenaries is a major distraction. I've also rediscovered Mario 64DS - I can't believe I was such a tool to almost dismiss this game first time I played it, leaving the main game for the mini games.

RE4 3rd run, with the typewriter & Merc mode

Merc mode is a game in itself, always good for a blast.

Also just got StarFox assault, outside the assy Tank the game is quite a blast.

Cube:
Baten Kaitos - The game is simply gorgeous and the battle system rocks.

Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat - Absolutely brilliant stuff. The game is pretty short and easy, but it doesn't really matter when it's that good. I hope they'll make a sequel.

Super Monkey Ball 2 - I'll need to play more and unlock the minigames, but I don't really feel like playing the single player mode.

PS2:
Burnout 3 - terrible loading times, otherwise pretty good.

DS:
Mario & Luigi SuperStar Saga
and waiting for my Wario Ware to arriwe.

Finished RE4 already. Now playing Paper Mario, obsessed with completing it although seems slow. Next up Pikmin 2. Unsure about Star Fox Assault - I'm afraid that another letdown after SFA would make me totally loose my love for the series. SF64 was amazing.

Playing Zelda Four Swords occasionally, although in Japanese, thinking of picking up the english version.

F-Zero GX is lost, somebody in the office borrowed it. I'd like to try it with my new component video cable, should be amazing.

Believe it or not, MK: DD a bunch with my roommates. I've also been meaning to play MP again since my memory card got wiped a few months back.

Playing Resident Evil 4. Great game. I see myself playing this one a few time. I'm at Chapter 3-3.

Reminds me to play Paper Mario 2 once I beat RE4.
