I'm late to the party (or small get together I guess, was this popular?).

Lately I've been in a funk, I have a bazillion games to play but...for some reason I just can't be bothered to play anything. But I finally got this game yesterday. I'd had it reserved at my local gamestore for what seems like half a millenium. I'm really enjoying it so far, its sorta like a cross between secret of mana and secret of evermore kinda. I dunno.

Other than that I've been playing a lot of NetHack lately...yes...nethack. Bite me its addicting.

Hulk: Ultimate Destruction Xbox

Really impressive and fun. They have totally nailed the essence of what makes the Hulk so cool. More of you need to be playing this!

Madden 06

MAKAI KINGDOM

I'm now resurrecting character and fusing their souls into new characters making UBER POWERFUL BEINGS OF DESTRUCTION.

I still suck at this game and I'm 20 hours in. I feel like I'm still learning so much too. Still only on chapter 6.

Currently taking care of a DS version of

in this game:

Playing some SNES games at random

and playing this on PS2:

What the hell is the best way to describe this game. Its Evolution 2 + A shitty summary of Evolution. I was a fan of this series. I'll still play through and beat it but damn, its disappointing. Good thing I only paid $8 for this. I don't think I would pay anymore for it.

This game is an Adventure Island remake. Just messed around with this a little bit. Got to the 2nd world. Very fun game but there's too much on the backlog so its getting shoved back for now.

Playing some more to unlock more games. Right now Evolution Worlds is my top priority. I played maybe an hour yesterday.

Incredible Hulk:Ultimate Destruction and World of Warcraft. Those not playing Hulk or planning never to get it should give up gaming.

Until I have the money for the new one, I'm playing War Room missions and Campaign on Hard.

Done everything major, gotten all but 10 medals, beat the all stages with Kirby and Waddledee. Not striving hard for that 100%, but I'm slowly making my way through with Dedede and Meta Knight, playing a stage or two here and there towards the final boss when I'm bored or on the train.

Great game, but I've taken a 1-2 week break from it since I bought a drawing tablet for my computer.

Having a major CIV III Conquests addiction at the moment.

Reminding me why I don't need to upgrade my computer for another year.

Viewtiful Joe 2 (GCN) - Picked it up for $20 CDN New. I never finished the first one (Damn Fire Leo) so I'm playing this one for the sheer fun of it. Going through on Kids Mode, taking my time...enjoying it thus far.

fire emblem sacred stones, playing that until I get around to getting awars duel strike.

also, was there a super mario 1 with updated graphics ever released for GBA? I don't want to play the NES classic version...

GBA: No.
GBC: Yes.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe was released for the Game Boy Colour, and remains a really fun little update to the title.

Nono, you should definitely get the GBC version. It's the original NES games, graphics and all, but with much much more added to it.

HALO 2 (playing Hard campaign after rushing through Normal at release, seeing a new batch of enemy behaviors and new things--like this ghost I never knew was in an alcove--I really don't recall from that first rush through the game)

ADVANCE WARS: DUAL STRIKE

Two games at polar extremes of "war" videogaming, each rocking relative to genre and platform.

Quake%203%20big.jpg

Getting some Quake 3 on, pretty new to the game although its been out for ages. Im liking it more than UT2K4, more solid and straightforward.

-SOCOM 3: US Navy Seals Beta (PS2) [this game will be online crack when it ships]
-Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 (XBX) [just picked this one up]
-Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory [haven't finished it yet]
-Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2) [haven't finished it yet]
-Gran Turismo 4 (PS2) [pinnacle of excellence, my favorite game on the PS2 to date]

Been meaning to pick up Forza Motorsport and give it a go. The demo really stank so I'm waiting for a price drop. Same goes for God of War - fucking amazing game when I played it, just waiting on a price drop.

I really need to get around to finishing Pikmin 2 (GCN) and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (GCN).

Today I popped in:

Super Metroid
Goldeneye (finally got accustomed to the controls, it's been awhile)
Perfect Dark (me and my room mate are going to play through it on Co-Op on HARD...never played co-op before, I know it's sluggish, but it will be fun hopefully).

Last night we put together:

4 TVs
4 Xbox's
4 Copies of Halo 2
8 Guys...

Did a bunch of different matches (mixed up teams 4v4 and 2v2v2v2)...

Was pretty wild. Except for other than me and my room mate, everyone sucked.

Topspin online (Xbox Live)

Halo 2 online (Xbox Live)

Madden 2006 GA league online (Xbox Live)

It's good to play together.
