What are Your Top 5 Favorite Websites?

Plies

GAF's Nicest Lunch Thief and Nosiest Dildo Archeologist
Title says it all !

1 - Wikiwand. Basically a prettier and customizable wikipedia layout (content is the same). Really an improvement from the aggressively white default page.

2 - Brilliant. Fun and engaging ways to approach math and physics concepts.

3 - Wolfram Alpha. Search engine for...basically everything. It directly attempts to pull out data rather than displaying links. You can make request about just anything and it can decompose complex equations to suggest step by step solution or generate new problems.

4 - Hackaday. Nothing to do with balaclava wearing russians in front of green CMDs, it is more of an hardware oriented site. It is very informative if you like making/electronics and most people there have great wits.

5 - RationalWiki. Humorous wiki about debunking wingnuts and crank theories. Hilarious and dangerously addicting.

Not necesarily my top 5, but probably my best contributions to the thread:

1 - Lainchan, a fun little image board.

2 - Write.as, a minimalist federated blogging platform.

3 - Wallhaven, a fantastic site for finding desktop wallpapers.

4 - Agora Road, the Internet's best-kept secret

5 - Newgrounds, yes it's still around, and very active!
Awesome sites! 😎
And yeah, I'll be stuck on Wallhaven for the next couple of hours, lol

what is that GIF

www.tweakers.net – The go-to Dutch tech website for news, reviews, and an active community.

www.fotmob.com – Easily the best site (and app) for live football scores, stats, line-ups, and commentary

www.dokkaninfo.com – A must-have resource if you're serious about Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle. Unit details etc

www.backloggd.com – Like Letterboxd, but for video games

www.isthereanydeal.com – Tracks game prices across multiple stores (Steam, Epic, GOG, etc.). Perfect if you're a PC gamer who wants to save money

neogaf, for gaming general gaming related
reddit, for hobbies and specific game subreddits
youtube, for hobby related videos mostly
ylilauta, board in native tongue
X, wish they would work on bot protections and better feed for subs only.

Ignoring the obvious like youtube and whatnot, I probably visit these the most:

letterboxd for movie collection
Backloggd for game collection
ScienceDaily for popcorn science news
lichess for quick chess games
And probably typingclub, because I am trying to learn proper typing

I don't have 5 but I'll make the ones I go to regularly:

WrestlingForum - I need to talk wrestling or I'll shrivel and die so this is a regularly visited site.

Wikipedia - My brain is always looking for knowledge, even if it's useless, so I go here to mostly learn about actors/actresses in old movies I like to watch or just to find out the lives of the famous men I like to stalk.

YouTube - Plenty of entertainment for my eyes.

Man....

Neogaf?
Era
Wiki

Really don't browse enough but some of the lists here look interesting! Tech, finance, or interesting stuff. But tired of click bait and bs. Just want to learn new topics and stuff as I read, tech sites allow for that usually.

1: exploit-db
2: iidb (Internet Infidels discussion Board)
3: torproject
4: NeoGaf (moving up since hitting top 10)
5: pixabay

(Below here, cheathappens, Pornhub, reddit, 4chan, Amazon, etc).

I've never really understood Wolfram Alpha.

For STEM, sure. It just spits out facts and working.

But for the other stuff, such as many of their examples, I've never gotten it to work. The examples work, of course.
